"I have to admit this is pretty amazing" Elsa smiled and she and Hiccup soared over the clouds on Toothless.
"I've always loved it up here" Hiccup commented, turning around in the saddle to face her. "This was the one place where I could be alone and think".
Elsa smiled. She reached out her hand and ra it along one of the white puffy clouds near by. "This is one place I'd never thought I'd be" she giggled.
"Same" said Hiccup, "I was scared of Toothless when I first met him, but now he's one of my best friends". Elsa looked Ito his eyes. "That is the cheesiest thing I've ever heard you say".
Hiccup laughed and leaned back slightly. "Well you've only known me a day" he teased. "I from what I know you'll say something even cheesier tomorrow" Elsa smirked.
Hiccup laughed and shook his head. "Your not like other girls" he smiled. "Your different". "Different how" Elsa asked.
"Hiccup stared into her icy blue eyes. "Different as in better. All the girls I've ever met can't stand the sight of mud". The two of them laughed and Hiccup turned back around in the saddle.
"Lets go back down. I think Toothless is starting to get tired". Just as Hiccup grabbed the reins Toothless shot across the sky, flying at a soles of over 80 miles an hour!
"Toothless what is wrong with you" Hiccup shouted trying to take control of the night furry. Elsa firmly wrapped her arms around his waist in an attempt NOT to fall off as Toothless zoomed through the sky.Suddenly Toothless dove straight down towards the ground. Hiccup could feel wind rush through his hair and against his face. Try as he might, he couldn't change the direction of the black dragon.
Just when he thought Toothless would ram into the ground he turned and took off again, barley a foot above the ground.
Finally the dragon slowed down and slowly landed on the ground. Elsa let out the breath she'd been holding. She leaned against Hiccup and took deep breaths, while he did the same. "That's on way to get your adrenalin pumping" she said when her breathing evened out.
Hiccup looked back at her and smiled. "I'm sure jumping over town has the same feeling". Elsa shook her head. "I know how that's gonna end" she smiled.
Hiccup rested his arm on his knee. "I'm surprised you didn't scream when Toothless went crazy". Toothless looked up at him and smiled, then turned back to taking a drink from the pond.
"Audrey would" Elsa laughed, then looked back at the castle. Lights were still on even though it was way past sunset.
"Thanks for the ride" she said slightly blushing. "It was fun". Hiccup grinned, "no problem". He glanced around and said, "care for another tomorrow at the same time"?
Elsa smiled and felt her heart begin to pound. "You can count on it" she smiled. Hiccups grin widened as her stared into her icy blue eyes. Elsa felt heat creeping to her cheeks and she was very grateful it was dark!
"I should go" she said quickly. "Yeah" Hiccup said slowly, "me too". "What about your ankle" Elsa asked worried, sliding into the ground. "Nah" he shook his head. "I'll have Toothless take me to my balcony".
Elsa smiled. "Don't get caught. I'll see you tomorrow" she said and walked off. Hiccup waved and took hold of Toothless's reins. "Alright bud" he said, "lets go". The two took off into the night sky.
Elsa hummed quietly to herself as she made her way back through the forest. She never thought she'd become friends with the prince!
Most girls would kill to be in her shoes! She smiled as the thought of the goofball prince. Yes he lied, but for a good reason.
Suddenly she stepped on something made of metal. She stopped and picked it up. It was a musketeers sword that was fairly new.
Patterns of red and black swirled around the handle. "What is this doing out here" she mumbled.
"Not protecting you" a dark voice growled from the darkness. Elsa spun around and held the sword put in front of her. "Who's there" she snapped, ready to fight if she had too. A man stepped out from the shadows, drawing a sword.
His eyes narrowed when he saw her. "Your not Hiccup" he grumbled. Elsa's eyes shot wide before turning to tiny slits. There trying to kill Hiccup she realized!
The man lunged for her and she blocked his blow just in time. After recovering for his temporary shock he tried harder, but Elsa was well beyond prepared.
With one final effort the Elsa sent his sword crashing into the dirt. She pointed her sword at the man who slowly backed up. "Easy" he said, slowly.
"Listen up" Elsa sneered. "I don't care who you are, or who you work for. But you will never kill Hiccup"! With that she laid a strong punch to his face, knocking him the the ground.
He laid there, not moving. But he WAS breathing. Elsa huffed and turned towards the castle. She took about two steps before taking off in a run.
