Elsa and Izzy found Audrey admiring her dress in the pond on the other side of the clearing. "Snap" Izzy said.
Audrey looked up at her friends. "This is gonna be awesome" she squealed.
Elsa laughed and handed her the box. "For you". Audrey took it and opened it. Inside was a light green band with a empty slot in the front. "A new sling shot" Audrey gasped.
Elsa smiled and ducked behind a tree to try on her dress. A few minutes later she stepped out to admire it with Audrey.
"Wow you look great" Audrey squealed. "Thanks" Elsa smiled.
"You know" Audrey said, mischief in her voice. "You should wear that more often. Prince Hiccup would have a heart attack".
"What"! Elsa flushed embarrassed, "I- he- he doesn't pay attention to stuff like that"!
"Un hun" Audrey smirked, "sure". Elsa punched Audrey in the arm. "Owe" Audrey rubbed her sore spot.
"Serves you right" Elsa smirked and headed back to the clearing. Anna was there playing with Toothless. "Hey" Elsa greeted and patted Toothless on the back.
Anna looked up. "You look nice".
"This is comfortable" Elsa admitted and brushed her hair out of her eyes. "I modified it a little" Anna smiled. "Oh and here's the boots". Anna tossed Elsa a pair of tall ice blue boots.
They were made of fine leather and the right boot had a slot on its side. "What's that for" Elsa asked.
"Your sword" Anna answered. "Ahh" Elsa nodded. It was quiet for a few moments before Anna asked, "are you sure you can stop Hans".
Her question caught Elsa off guard for a moment. Her mind did a quick flash to what would happen if they didn't stop Hans. She shook her head. That would not be pretty!
Elsa knew right then and there she would not let anything happen to Hiccup even if it cost her her life.
"Yes".
Hiccup silently groaned as his father placed the crown on his head.
It sank into his brown hair and slid off to the side a little. Hiccup let out a huff of air which resulted in his crown sliding further off his head.
He groaned and snatched it. "Is this really necessary"? Zachary took the crown from him and placed it back on his sons head. "Yes! This crown is just temporary thought".
Hiccup froze. "Temporary"?
His father nodded. "You know. Until you get the real thing tomorrow".
Hiccups gaze flickered to his fathers head wear the Royal crown rested. It would become his in twenty four hours.
It was bigger than his, purple, blue and green gems glistened in the sunlight that streamed through the windows. It was an even shimmery gold than his and a small cross rested on the top of it.
"I know" Hiccup whispered, sadly. He glanced at the clock on the wall. Two hours to the party...
He sighed. He slipped the crown off his head and placed it in his fathers hand. "I'll be in the forest".
Zachary nodded. Hiccup slipped out of the room and made his way down the hall.
His mind drifted off to Elsa. About how she was locked up and how he wouldn't be able to probably see her till after his coronation.
He thought about breaking her out... no that would never work. Besides his father would kill him.
He raked his hand through his hair and header for the forest. He stepped on a stick that echoed through out the dense trees. "Toothless" he called as he made his way to the clearing.
"Are you saying masks would actually work" Audrey asked, uncertain.
"Listen" Anna explained, "I have a bunch of old masks up in my bedroom. Enough for the town. If we convince them to wear them you will blend right in".
"And your sure this will work" Elsa asked, raising an eyebrow. "You could be my models" Anna chirped.
Elsa through her hands in the air, "oh alright"! "Yay" Audrey squealed.
Izzy shook her head then her head snapped up. "Shh" she hissed.
Everyone came quiet and Elsa's heart stopped as she heard a twig snap just outside the clearing, followed by a "Toothless"!
"Hiccup" she whispered, horrified. Anna gasped, "Hide"!
The older girls scrambled out of sight. Audrey ducked behind a large rock. Izzy crouched down above the cave in clearing. Elsa jumped into the nearest tree and pressed her back to the trunk.
"Please don't see me" her mind pleaded.
Right at that moment Hiccup walked into the clearing. He froze when he saw Anna standing there in front of him and also in front of Toothless.
Anna put on a nervous smile. "Hey Hiccup".
That finally snapped him out of his shock. "Anna" he exclaimed, "um I um, what are you doing here"?
Anna crossed her arms. "What, I'm not allowed to be on my own home property".
Elsa rolled her eyes.
"I was just playing with Toothless" Anna continued and walked over to the night fury. Hiccups eyes shot wide.
"You know about him"?
Anna smirked. "For about a year".
"What"?!
"How can miss him"?
Hiccup rubbed his forehead. "Just don't tell anyone" he groaned. "Wasn't planning on it" Anna smiled but she froze when a loud crack echoed through the clearing.
Out of the corner of her eye she watched Elsa hurry to jump to a different branch. Hiccups head snapped in her direction justas Elsa jumped out of sight.
In confusion the prince stared to walk over to the three.
"Please don't look up" Elsa's brain screamed, "he'll be staring right at me"!
Elsa held her breath as Hiccup came closer. He was about to look up at he when Toothless whipped his tail out and under Hiccups feet.
The prince was thrown off balance and once again, into the pond.
"Again" Hiccup shouted, climbing out. Elsa smiled and shook her head. "So cute".
