ishita's eyes fluttered open, with sunlight seeping from the window entering right into her cornea, she had to rub her eyes before opening them up and wake up finally. she attempted to sit up, as she felt her neck and shoulder cramp, as she had slept on her right side for a long while. her glance fell on the mirror to her left, as she was made to see her smudged mascara and lipstick, making her realise that she had fallen asleep before even taking her makeup off. But before she had time to freshen up for the morning, her phone rang, and she had to quickly grab to attend it.

"hello..." she received the call while yawning simultaneously, she had yet to wake up completely.

"di aap kahan ho, humein lehenga lene jaana tha, phir hamara lunch tha, where are you?" questioned purvi hastily from the other end of the call, as ishita just slapped her forehead, looking at the time, the clock struck 12 in the noon, she was already late.

"arre, woh, sarr mein dard ho raha tha, dawai khaake so gayi thi...main aa rahi hoon abhi, bas 20 min dede..." replied ishita, making up a quick excuse.

"di aap theek toh ho na?" asked purvi, concerned genuinely, as ishita got up and quickly went to her closet to grab the first pair of jeans and top she could grab.

"haan, haan, halka sa sarr dard tha bas...main aati hoon huh." hung up ishita on the call, grabbing the clothes and the towel and rushed to the washroom.

she was quick to hand the towel and clothes on the door hangers after locking the bathroom. she then got in front of the mirror, as she started to get rid of all the pins in her hair, when her glance fell on her earrings that she was about to take off, but stopped when something struck her mind.

ishita sat with her knees against her chest, while the skirt of her lehenga flowed to reveal the intricate work on it, while her veil that had been covering her head, spread over it. she looked around the room, decorated with flowers and all the lovely ornaments that is used to design a room for a couple's wedding night.

the door opened, as the groom he had been waiting for, finally arrived. dushyant took a quick glance at her after entering the room before he turned to fasten the catch on the door. he took slow but big steps towards her, and seated himself adjacent to her on the foot of the bed, making their eyes meet.

he put her veil aside, making her face clear to him now, allowing him to take a one good look at her, as he placed his palm on her left cheek, stroking it with his thumb.

"bahaut sundar lag rahi ho..." he stated, his chest puffed up from all the overwhelming emotions that came with such a big day, as she let out a slight giggle from fluttering and fuzzy feelings, and he smiled too looking at her.

his hand moved away from her cheek, only to now clasp her hand in his, looking deeply into her eyes.

"i love you, really...a lot...."  he confessed, just coming naturally to him at the moment to say, as she rushed to give him a hug, as he too wrapped his arms around her waist in an embrace.

"i love you too..." she replied, closing her eyes, just feeling his embrace, her hands sliding down from his chest, when it reached his pocket, where she felt something.

"yeh kya hai?" she asked, puzzled, as they both seperated, and he looked down to remember immediately.

"oh main toh bhul hi gaya tha..." he said, taking out from his pocket a red jewellery box.

"yeh tumhare liye..." stated dushyant, as he opened the box to reveal a pair of gold earrings.

"yeh, bahaut sundar hai...par, yeh kisliye?" asked ishita, surprised.
