Dushyant and ishita were seated on the opposite ends of the breakfast table, as he looked at ishita who was fiddling the food on the plate with the spoon, before he looked down on his plate and used the spoon to grab a bite to eat.
"look at your right..." stated dushyant, as ishita looked up, certainly perplexed.
"huh?" reacted ishita, as she slightly looked to her right, and found a family of four, with both the parents sitting on opposite ends of the table, with one child each seated next to them, looking anywhere except for each other, while eating disinterestedly.
"you know they had their 30th anniversary party last week...they danced on tera mera saath rahe..." informed ishita, after taking a slight chuckle while shaking hear head after looking away from them, as dushyant took another quick glance at them before chuckling slightly too.
"abhi toh aunty aisa lag raha hai gaa rahi hai mann hi mann : main teri dushman, dushman tu mera..." muttered dushyant the song softly, as ishita couldn't hold her laughter.
"nahi, nahi, woh yeh soch rahi hai: murder ka idea toh mil gaya crime patrol se, ab karoon karoon toh karo kab...." ishita fakes a voice to sound older and annoyed, as dushyant chuckles before responding.
"par uncle kaunsa kam hai, woh bhi soch rahe hai: isse kya lagta hai, bas yeh hi crime patrol dekhti hai, main toh cid bhi dekhta hoon jab yeh khaana banati hai..." continued dushyant with the joke, as they were both chuckling at this point.
"i think sabse bada plot twist hi hoga ki bache inn dono ke saath Crime Patrol aur CID dekh kar, inka hi kaand karde dono se dukhi hokar..." commented ishita, shaking her head in disbelief, before taking a bite to eat.
"what do you think, humein dekh ke koi kya sochega abhi?" questioned dushyant inquisitively.
"yeh zyada hi khush hai...lagta hai murder plan confirmed." joked ishita, as dushyant too chuckled slightly.
"hmm...shayad coffee mein zeher daalna tha..tabhi pyaar aa raha tha na subha?" raised dushyant suspicion in a satirical tone.
"nahi..tumhe raat ko deck pe bulakar dhakka dene waali thi..laash thekane lagane ka bhi kaam khatam...tumhe bas waves ke saath upar neeche jaate dekhti araam se..." stated ishita, signaling her hand to move like the waves, as her sarcasm was so apparent, he couldn't help but still chuckle.
"pata hai, bada miss kiya maine tumhare aise jokes ko...pure jahaan mein kahi na mile..." remarked dushyant, as ishita snickered.
"hmm, miss karne ki aadat nahi bigaadni chahiye tumhari....ek kaam karte hai, aaj tumhe thoda avoid karti hoon main...cool?" asked ishita, as she was about to get up from the table, when dushyant held her hand to stop her.
"aur agar main avoid karna itna mushkil kardoon, ki tum khudh hi aao mere paas, phir?" asked dushyant, as ishita raised her brow.
"i'll kiss you good night...." she replied casually, before taking her hand off his grip smoothly, as he was slightly taken aback by the offer.

Everyone had stepped down from the ship to enjoy a day of sight seeing today. With tiny groups formed by everyone of their own to roam around the streets idly with, ishita had just decided to quietly slip away with her mother.
"arre beta mere paas kya hi hai sewaye boring si budhape ki baaton ke, tum jaati na baakiyon ke saath, enjoy karo..." stated her mother, as ishita chuckled, while she was walking with linking her arm to her mother's.
"kya karein maa, tumhari beti budhape se pehle hi boring ho gayi hai..." remarked ishita, making her mother shake her head in disbelief.
"tum papa pe hi chali gayi ho apne...bilkul aise hi jokes maarte the...college ki dinon mein bhi..." stated her mother.
"hmm...phir apni shaadi ke din bhi yahi yaad kar rahi thi, jab bhaag gayi thi..." retorted ishita playfully, as her mother slapped her arm, making her chuckle.
"pata nahi itni pagal kaise thi main...lehenge aur ghoongat mein hi bhaag gayi...woh toh shukar manao tumhare papa ki gaadi ruk gayi sabse pehli...aur woh mujhe ghar le gaye apne...pata nahi kahan hi jaati warna." remarked her mother, as ishita couldn't help be taken back to the dream she had last night.
"kitni filmy kahaani thi na aap dono ki bhi....ladki shaadi se bhaagti hai aur apna college ke pyaar se mil jaati hai..." noted ishita, as her mother chuckled.
"tumhari kaunsa kam thi! Dushyant lagta bhi waise hero jaisa hi hai, nahi.." nudged her mother teasingly, as ishita only chortled in response.
"bas dekhta hi waise hai maa...na toh woh koi hero hai....na hi hum kisi filmy duniya mein the kabhi." replied ishita cynically.
Only for ishita to suddenly feel someone behind her and turned to find dushyant.
"oh my god! what a coincidence! tum yahan?" exclaimed dushyant with such a fake and exaggerated shock, that ishita saw right through it.
"right, coincidence..." replied ishita with the disbelief seeping right into her voice.
Their eyes were fixed on each other, as he had a smirk on his face while she was ready to see what he had up his sleeve today, the energy between them was easy to catch on for ishita's mother though, as she separated herself from ishita.
"main zara washroom dhondoo aas paas....aati hoon, thodi der mein..." her mother took leave, slipping away, as ishita knew exactly what she was doing.
She looked away from dushyant and continued to walk away, as he followed her behind.
"i must say though, you are doing a good job on the avoiding part..." remarked dushyant, as ishita let out a sarcastic wheeze of a laughter.
"it's easier considering it's you..." retorted ishita, as they both continued to walk.
"maybe it's easier because i haven't made it difficult for you yet.." responded dushyant playfully, while ishita just chuckled.
"you can test me if you want, but you'd be proved wrong, mr luthra." stated ishita with a confidence, which was kind of a turn on for him, even if he didn't admit so himself.
She stopped by a local roadside stand that had ornaments and antique pieces made of sea shells on display. She started to look at the pieces, picking them up one by one, as he quietly observed, standing from behind.
It was only when she kept one down and bent to pick another one from the other side, that she felt him place his arm onto hers, such that his palm touched the back of hers, he bent to be close to her such that she could feel his hot breath on her cheek.
She froze at her place, as he slowly moved her arm to pick up an adorable bracelet, as he lifted her arm up and leaned back, causing her to move along with him involuntarily. Their eyes met as they stood with no distance between them, their faces only an inches apart, his gaze still fixed on hers just like hers on him, when he gently placed that bracelet on her wrist. And in just tha second, he averted his gaze from her to the owner of that stand.
"so how much is it?" inquired dushyant, causing ishita to come back to earth and immediately distance herself from him.
"i don't want it..." stated ishita, taking it off and keeping it back, before walking away.
She felt strangely uncomfortable, her heart rate still not calming down from when it had shot up high when he touched her. She attempted to compose herself, taking slow breaths to calm down, but she felt an odd feeling in her stomach she couldn't shake off, it felt like those butterflies she would feel around him in the beginning had returned.
she looked down on her palm again, that feeling of his touch was felt by her again, bringing an unexpected smile on her face, which she couldn't shake off.
