Chapter 26: Florida

"Ugh... Jet lag's the worst!" I exclaimed once we finally landed in Florida.

Sheena and I were really tired from the flight. Jet lag had hit us both, and we just really wanted to sleep, even though it was only 12 in the afternoon.

Harry's arm brushed against my arm, jerking me awake with his touch.

"Wake up, love!" He whispered into my ear. He took my suitcase with his as he walked with me.

The walk to the van was silent. No one really talked and we all looked like zombies who hasn't gotten sleep for a year.

The fans were still really crazy though... To keep safe, Harry and I were separated. We didn't want the press to come up with scandalous reports. Although we both wanted to stay near each other, Paul had placed me in between Louis and Sheena. Harry walked ahead of us.

Once we got into the van,- thank you dark tinted windows - I sat next to Harry.

He had put his arm around me, making me lean on him.

"Go ahead and sleep... I'll wake you up when we get there." He kissed me on the forehead, squeezing my shoulder before letting me sleep.

- Harry's POV -

Maddie looked beautiful when she slept. The way her hair fell in the front of her face was mesmerizing to me...

I took a picture of Maddie. I would show this to her when she wakes up.

We finally arrived at the back of our hotel. We decided not to bring Maddie into all this screaming and fangirling too much... And plus, it was quiet... I carried Maddie, bridal style, into the elevator. I didn't want to wake her up, so I decided to carry her.

The boys had rented out rooms for everyone, except Maddie and Sheena, because we didn't know they were coming. So, Niall and I had to share rooms with our girlfriends.

I wondered if Maddie would mind if we slept on the same bed because there was only one bed, unfortunately.

I laid her onto the bed and covered her up with the blankets.

"Sweet dreams, love!"

"And that's what makes you beautiful!"

We finally finished our soundcheck, and trust me, we were really tired!

"Well, mates, are you ready for tonight's concert?!" Liam was really excited for the concert. It was written all over his face!

They all cheered, and Niall went over to put Josh in a headlock.

"Niall, you're hurting the poor lad." Liam went immediately back to 'Mr. Sensible' seeing Niall.

Josh took the chance of releasing himself and head locked Niall.

"On second thought, never mind." Liam chuckled to himself as he walked backstage.

I followed Liam backstage, and all the girls were there.

Of course, I strolled on over to Maddie, slipping an arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer to me.

She gasped as I blew on the nape of her neck. I watched as her whole body turned red and she shivered.

I couldn't help but laugh at her.

"Harry! That's not funny!" she squealed.

"No... It is. It's fun seeing your embarrassed face! It's so cute." I reached for her cheek and pinched it slightly.
