Chapter 15: Promise Me.

*** At Home ***

I left the hospital 3 hours ago. Sheena's still there. I tried my best to ignore Harry, because things became awkward. Everything was fine and all until 'conscience' here, had to tell me that Harry liked me. And for what reason? To get my attention.

3 words.

'Harry likes you.'

Those three words just make me lose my thoughts.

No... He doesn't. Why the hell would he? It's not possible, and you're being really irritating. Just shut up. Okay?! I'm tired of you just telling me things that don't matter to me. Okay?! Just shut up.

'Fine. I'll leave you alone. But you already should know why, Maddie. And you know I was right. I got your attention.' If 'conscience' was a real girl, I could already see the smirk on her face.

"Ugh..." I groaned out loud.

I rubbed my temples and I put some earphones into my ears to drown out the words that have been stuck in my head. But it didn't work!

Those three simple words just kept repeating over and over like a broken record.

"Now I can't even think straight."

Three knocks on the front door made me come to my senses.

I ran over to the door and looked through the peephole in the front door but it was covered. I grabbed an umbrella that was near the door and slowly opened it with the umbrella behind me.

"Surprise, Maddie!" Louis, Liam, Zayn, Niall, and Harry exclaimed.

"What's the surprise?" I asked. I threw the umbrella to my left, so they wouldn't see it. They came into the flat. I closed the door.

"Well, starting next month, we will be going on tour until July, again. So... We wanted to have a little party with our friends! Since Sheena's in the hospital, we'll have to have the party sometime else. So how about this Saturday?" Louis asked.

"I guess so. A party's fine. But who exactly is going and where is it?"

"Well, a lot of people are coming. Even Perrie, Danielle, and Eleanor." Zayn admitted.

"And by a lot of people, you mean your famous friends?"

"Yeah... Like Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs, and a lot of our friends. Even some of our family's coming." Harry said.

He smiled at me. I smiled back at him, but it didn't reach my eyes.

"So, you down to go?" Niall asked.

"Yeah, I'm down. So where's it at?"

"Probably at Louis and Harry's flat?" Liam said, unsure.

"And what exactly am I supposed to do for you?"

"Maybe, you can do something special for us?" they chorused.

"Hmm... Okay. I'll do it! It sounds like fun." I said.

"Okay, we have to go back now." Liam said.

"You're leaving, already?"

"Yeah, but we'll see you at the party or maybe the hospital? Sheena's still there right?" Niall asked.

"Yeah. She's still there. Bye, now! Have a safe trip!" I yelled as they went back to their van.

"It's time for me to go to sleep, even though its only 6 in the evening." I said aloud. It's so empty here without Sheena. I don't like to be alone, but it's best for me.
