Soaring on the mellow sands of iniquity,
Biding for the stars to fall into the barren sea,
To no longer gaze at the richness of the skies
But at the Stygian waters, brimming with lies.
The sky with its ardent hues of light,
Jewels that linger untouched by human might.
Those empty eyes that search far and above
Knowing not of truth, of pain, or love.
They wake from this twilight dream of more,
Burying in the shadows what was once before.
