If he were to live but a single day,
He would seize every second without delay,
And never dwell on what's behind or before
But the Now that is ever near Death's door.
And if on that day—
He were to love but a single moment,
He'd save the world again from its torment.
That one day, that one love brings many a heart,
Into the Light that would never let us part.
