My sight had never been so clear
Until I gazed into your eyes.
Thoughts awhirl, aflame,
In your blinding light.
Colors sharply glitter,
Enticingly cold, yet becoming.
You banish the melancholy lurking
In the deep dark of my soul.
And so this heart remains, when all else is ash and bone,
And deserts abound, alone, I fly to where you belong.
