We gaze into dawn's early light
Sifting through the verdant canopy.
The heady fragrance of gardenias
Blending with the rich bouquet
Of coffee, as another day begins.
And though the years have mellowed
Much like this sweet, earthy brew,
It never fails to rekindle our tired spirits
Or bring an ardor to our weary steps,
As together, we welcome the day anew.
