Like a perfect doll, wrenched and discarded,
The light from those beautiful orbs obliterated
By those he considered kin, yet sought his demise—
She took him under her wing, a Valkyrie in disguise.
Like a phoenix from the ashes rising,
Cold and ruthless, he smote all those opposing.
For he lived only for her, a shining beacon—
She who was hope, mentor and retribution.
And yet daring to love her was out of the question,
For all he will ever be is an alluring obligation.
