so i've seen a couple of comments as well as some dm's from a few of you requesting for some more romantic scenes between Naruto and (Y/N)

i fully understand that and i'm definitely going to include more lovey-dovey scenes between the two throughout the story

but,
i have a thing for writing romance—especially yk, kiss scenes, romantically protective scenes—just romance scenes in general

however, i do plan on keeping the main plot of this story at a slow-burn level. i struggle with this which is why i was so hesitant to include romantic scenes earlier on. but since many of you have made it clear that you'd prefer the scenes, i definitely would not complain about writing them :))

but anyway, back to my original point. i want the book to be slow-burn, but i also don't want you guys to be starved of romance throughout

so, i will begin to write—basically filler—chapters occasionally through the story!

these "filler" chapters can range from romance, jealousy, angsty stuff bc who doesn't love that, found family, slice of life stuff—anything anybody would want

i suppose if anybody would like, things could get a little frisky as in close to or possible NSFW chapters as well.

now, obviously, many of these—if not all—will not be canon chapters. there can be a few in which it is almost like a flashback-type thing where it actually happened before

death and romance, for example, will likely never be canon especially if between Naruto and (Y/N). this will only be canon when writing the story itself. i really hope this all makes sense 😔

i've begun to write a romance non-canon chapter already as well as the next canon chapter of the story. the non-canon one is just beginning while the canon one is around 7,000 words and still in the works.

trust me, i think carpal tunnel is coming up from writing in these past couple of days alone 😓

i wanted to explain everything to you guys before jumping right into my plan. didn't want to confuse you guys and i also want to let everybody know that requests for these chapters are open!

feel free to either comment on this post or dm me any ideas you come up with.

i've no filter for the requests, only that there is no specific appearance to (Y/N) as well as no specific name—anything else is acceptable :)

that's all i have to let you guys in on for now—i'm going to continue writing after posting this.

the key for knowing which chapters are canon, flashbacks, or non-canon is listed below:

✤ = canon (part of the main story plot)
★ = canon flashback (used on real "filler" chapters)
☆ = non-canon (used for the fake "filler" chapters)
✿ = update/authors note
