•Naruto POV•

Today's the day I become Ninja!

I lock up my house then I head off to meet (Y/N) at a spot we always meet up at.I already know (Y/N) is going to make it as a ninja.Shes really good at everything.I don't know who has been training with her over the years but whoever it is, he/she must be good.

"Hey Naruto!You ready?"

"You know it!Im gonna pass, believe it!"
I smile at her as we begin to make our way to the school.It stays quiet for a little while.
"Bet I can beat you."
She says out of nowhere.

"Bet you can't!"
With that sentence we're off, running as fast as we can to the school.

•(Y/N) POV•

We both finally get at school, out of breath.
"You idiots!You won't have any energy for the tests!"
Sakura yells as she watches both me and Naruto collapse.I look up at her, rolling my eyes.
"Relax.Its none of your concern in the first place."

Me and Sakura have always bumped heads.Nobody knows why, except me that is.She always makes fun and says bad stuff about Naruto.I don't like her, at all.Plus, she's always fantasizing about Sasuke all the time.I get he's attractive but really?

"You trying to pick a fight so early in baby?"
The flirt that owns the name Shikamaru slings an arm around my shoulders once helping me stand back up.I gently pick his arm up and drop it back down to his sides.
"Don't call me baby."

I turn around helping Naruto back on his feet as well.
"H-Hey Sakura.."
Naruto has a crush on Sakura.I can't even see why!Shes not even that nice.A blush crosses on Naruto's face as the school doors open, leaving him standing there while everybody else goes inside.I grab his arm, guiding him through the building until we finally reach the classroom.

I sit next to Ino as Naruto sits in front of me, next to Sasuke.Of course, this triggers a fight between Naruto and the girls.Except Hinata.Shes always so shy and quiet.Shes cute to.Why can't Naruto like her instead?
"Move Naruto!Im sitting next to Sasuke!"
Sakura try's to shove Naruto out of the way but fails as Naruto crouches on the desk in front of Sasuke.

Another classmate sitting in front of Sasuke—and now Naruto—turns moves his arm, accidentally bumping into Naruto.Silence washes over the classroom as everybody stares at the situation at hand.Naruto and Sasuke kissing.

Me and Ino bust out laughing as the girls are ready to knock some heads.Sakura rolls up her nonexistent sleeves, heading to hit Naruto but luckily Iruka enters the classroom before anything else can happen.

Naruto looks up at me from his seat next to Sakura.I nod down at him, telling him that I believe he can do it.
"So the first test is on, your shadow clone Jutsu."

Naruto's head slams on the table as he groans.He sucks at this.

"(Y/N) (L/N), you first."
As I walk by Naruto's desk I slip him a note, simply telling him good luck with a small heart next to it.I notice him smile before I leave the room.

I hope he does well...

Everybody is crowded outside the school building, admiring each other's new headbands.Me on the other hand, can't find any trace of Naruto.Nobody even seen him leave.Nobody even knows if he passed or not.

"Hey (Y/N)."
I look to my side seeing the sweet and loving Hinata standing at my side, a small smile on her face.
"I saw Naruto run off in that direction."
She points to the right.

I smile at her, holding her in a hug.
"Thank you Hinata, you're the best."
Hinata softly smiles as she watched me run off in the direction she saw Naruto run.
She's such a sweetheart.

Where could that knucklehead be now?

I've been looking around for him for about an hour now and he's not in any spots he's normally at.Its kinda making me worried.It doesn't help that I've seen 10 Shinobi in the past 15 minutes.Its not normal for them to be out moving at this time.

A flash of orange catches my eye, stopping me immediately.

Holy Hokage...

Where I suspected there to be one Naruto, there was at least 90.What stands out most is the large scroll that is resting on the ground next to Iruka Sensei.Within the blink of an eye, all the Naruto's are charging after (whatever the heck his name is).

Hiding behind a tree, a keep watching.I also take notice that Naruto doesn't have the headband, which means he did not pass.Iruka Sensei watches from against a tree, shock written on his face.

A moment later, all of the Naruto clones had disappeared and on the ground lays the enemy.Naruto rushes to Iruka Sensei pointing at the man the had taken down.
"Did ya see that!I did that!Believe it!"

Iruka smiles as he sits up more straightly.
"Yes you did.Now, close your eyes."
Naruto slowly closes his eyes, as Iruka pulls out a headband from his poket, slowly wrapping it around his forehead.
"Now, open."

Naruto opens his eyes, feeling the headband on his head.His face turns to happiness as he jumps into Iruka Sensei's arms.

A smile spreads on my face as I leave the two alone.

Naruto comes running out of the forest.Im currently sitting at our meet up spot on a bench.
"Hey, (Y/N)!"
He rushes infront of me, pointing at his headband.
"Look!Look!I passed!Believe it!"
He gives me a cocky smile.

I smirk.
"You aren't the only one."
I then lift my arm up showing him my own headband but on my wrist.
He smiles at me.
"I knew you could do it!"

I smile back.
"Wanna go for some Ramen?"
He jumps at the thought.
"You know I do!"
