~Chapter 10~

Naruo couldn't seem to stop pestering Sakura as they both walked through the Leaf Village.
"Naruto- just leave me alone!"
Just as Sakura was attempting to separate herself with Naruto, another voice appeared a distance away.
"Naruto! I thought you were supposed to teach Konohamaru!"
(Y/N), who had a team of 3 following behind her, said as she approached the blonde and Sakura.
"Oh, well I was, but I didn't see him anywhere."

"I don't want you to teach me anymore! (Y/N) is so much cooler!"
Konohamaru says standing beside (Y/N) with his two friends, arms folded.
"What! How is she cooler than me?"

"Did you see that big scar she has on her side now? It's awesome! She's so strong! I want her to be my teacher!"
(Y/N) blushes at the comment while rubbing the back of her neck.
"Well, I wouldn't exactly say it's awesome, but-- If you really want me to be your teacher I could."
Naruto folds his arms.
"It's not that cool!"

Sakura shrugs her shoulders.
"I dunno, Naruto. It is kinda cool..."
Naruto pouts as Konohamaru gets knocked over causing him to fall to the ground. Looking back up, there stood a boy and a girl. The girl had blonde hair that was pulled up in four different directions with what looked like a fan on her back. The boy had a jacket on with the hood over his head, purple markings on his face, and an object on his back wrapped in cloth.
"Get out of my way."
The boy spat out at Konohamaru. Of course, Konohamaru fought back.
"I'm the grandson of the 3rd hokage! Watch who you're talking to!"
A smirk crossed the boy's face as he grabbed onto Konohamaru's collar to pull him off the ground.

Konohamaru's two friends began to attempt to get him down, but the boy didn't listen since he didn't feel threatened by anybody.
"Put him down."
(Y/N) said calmly. She never got mad until she saw the personality of the person she would be talking to. If they were a jerk, she would be a jerk. If they were nice, she would be nice. The boy looked over at (Y/N) with his smirk forming into a grin. The girl next to him stepped forward, crossing her arms.
"Oh, what are you gonna do, princess? Pinch us?"

Dropping down to the ground, (Y/N) spins with one leg extended next to her, causing the girl to get knocked over. Before she could actually hit the ground, (Y/N) grabbed onto her collar, holding her up.
"Don't you dare get smart with me. I simply said to put my friend down, not for you to open your smart mouth, sweetheart."
(Y/N) finished her words. Letting go of her collar, she dropped the girl onto her back. Looking at the boy next to her, she smiled.
"Now. Put him down."
A rock gets flicked to the boys neck from behind. Looking back into the trees, he immediately dropped Konohamaru. HIs friends rushed to his side as the boy stepped back. Dropping from the tree, (Y/N) could recognize the face from anywhere.
"It's been a long time, (Y/N)."

"It really has.How have you been, Gaara? I must say, you look pretty intimidating nowadays."
(Y/N) says as Naruto and Sakura look between the two. Gaara nods.
"That's what happens when my life is as it is. We have to go. I'll see you later, (Y/N)."
(Y/N) waves as Gaara leads the two away. The girl looks back at (Y/N) only wondering how she and Gaara knew each other. Sasuke jumps down from the tree Gaara was in.
"You know that guy?"
(Y/N) nods with a smile.
"Yeah, I got to go on a small mission with my dad to the sand village where he is from. I was allowed to go explore a little bit and I saw kids running away from him. He had such a sad look so I went over and asked if he wanted to play ball with me since he was holding a ball. The only difference now from then is that he just seems a lot more... empty. Normally he would smile when he saw me, his eyes just looked... evil."

Naruto looked over at her.
"Hey, so is that the guy you would always mention when you came over to my house to hang out? About how much you miss him?"
(Y/N) nodded. Sasuke looked between the two his eyes resting on (Y/N).
"You've been to... his house? With no supervision, alone, together? Able to do anything?"
Naruto nodded.
"Well yeah, we've been friends since forever. Why? What're you tryna get at Sasuke?"
Sasuke just looked away.
"Nothing. I'm sure you didn't take advantage of her or anything..."
