"Are you four in position yet?"
Kakashi asks talking into the earpiece given to each of the team members.Toady team 7 was taking on a mission.Not a big deal hero is mission, but everything counts I suppose.Each member responds with a short 'yes' except Naruto who adds 'believe it' onto the end.
"Good.Now Wait for my signal."

Moments pass before a quick swift passes each of the four's eyes and comes to rest on the empty plain infront of their hiding spots.(Y/N) grabs ahold of Naruto to keep him from grabbing the animal.
"Naruto, you can't just jump into action like that."
(Y/N) whispers at her blonde best friend.
Naruto sighs.
"I don't need you to look out for me.Im strong enough to protect myself."
He folds his arms, turning away from his best friend.

"Naruto, that's—."

"Now!"
Her fathers voice stops her sentence and before she can respond to Naruto, he's off to get the animal.Not to soon after, Sasuke talks to Kakashi through his earpiece while Naruto struggles to hold onto the wild cat.

The team was now on their way back to the village to inform Hokage that they had completed their mission and to retrieve a new one.Sasuke falls behind the rest of the group next to (Y/N).
"You ok?"

It takes (Y/N) a moment to zone back into reality.
"Hm?Oh, Sasuke..yeah I'm okay."
He raises an eye brow at her.If there's one thing he noticed about her it's that she always sticks next to Naruto.It was different this time, Naruto was walking next to Kakshi, Sakura being on the other side of their Sensei.
"You're lying."

"No.Im not.Dont worry about me.Ill be okay.You shouldn't worry."
(Y/N) sends Sasuke a soft smile, making him believe she was okay.He shrugs and picks up the pace.

Why did he go off on me like that?
(Y/N) begins to ask herself.
I get that Naruto doesn't like people to underestimate him, but I-I didn't mean to hurt him..I just don't want him to be alone, that's all.

Naruto turns around slightly to glance at (Y/N) who has sad eyes.
Maybe I was a little harsh..meh, I'll apologize later.

The team returns back to the Hokage to retrieve their new mission.
"There's several jobs open for team 7.Helping the counselor's wife with her groceries.Digging up potatoes for the counselors wife-."

"No!I want a real mission!"
Naruto screams finally having enough of what he calls, 'baby missions'.Normally, (Y/N) would shut Naruto up, except this time, she didn't.(Y/N) felt as if she needed to give him his space.

Kakashi glances down at his daughter.
Somethings wrong.

Kakashi has the father like abilities to tell whenever a child is okay or not.He did notice her sudden change in behavior whenever they started their trip back to the village, he'd just thought that it was just in the moment and nothing to serious.

Iruka Sensei stands to his feet.
"How dare you!You're just a new genin!Like every other genin, you start with small missions then get bigger to improve yourselves!"
Naruto decides to dig himself a bigger hole, and bite back.
"Are you saying I'm weak?!Ill show you!"
Naruto leaps forward only this time, he's tripped by the one and only Uchiha and lands flat on his face.
"You shouldn't be focusing on this right now.You should worry about more important things."
He glances back at (Y/N) giving Naruto an obvious path of what he means.Naruto rolls his eyes standing up and begins to make his way to (Y/N).

"Hey..about earlier...look I'm sorry, I had no reason to explode on you like that.Its my bad."
(Y/N)'s eyes light up at Naruto's apology causing her to grab her friend into a tight hug, which he gladly accepted.

Kakashi looks back at his daughter and her best friend, a smile hiding behind his mask.Naruto and (Y/N) separate, but Naruto still hasn't given up.
"I still want a better mission."
Hokage sighs as he looks over all the available missions left.
Kakashi hits Naruto on top of the head, making him fall on his face.
"Put a lid on it."

Hokage opens his mouth to speak, until a hand slides through the door and it opens to reveal an old man chugging liquor.
"It's just a bunch of snobby little kids!"
(Y/N)'s nose scrunches up.She can small the mans breath which has the same smell as liquor.For some reason, she could never stand liquor.Ever.One time, when she was only 5, she smelt liquor once and she was sick for a whole week.She's despised it ever since.

"This man is your client."
Hokage's voice makes all of us look at him.
"You will be escorting him to his village, Land of Waves.He is a bridge builder who is working on a very important bridge at his village.It provides all trade for the people who live there.Which also means that many ninja will come after the bridge builder to stop any of this from happening.Thats where you 4 come in.Your job will be to protect the bridge builder at all costs.Even if it costs your life."

Naruto jumps up and down.
"Yay!Finally a real mission!"

Naruto leads the team out the door, Kakashi turning to follow after them.Before he can leave, Lord Hokage stops him.
"Are you sure you want her to go?"

"What?"
Kakashi turns around to look at him.
Hokage looks up at him while lighting a cigar.
"(Y/N).Are you sure you want her to go?If this mission could cost her life, there's a high chance she could die."
A shadow crosses Kakashi's face as Lord Hokage continues to make good points as to why (Y/N) should stay behind.
"You know that there's going to be some high level ninja following you 6.Do you believe she's strong enough to handle them?The last thing either of us want is for her to die."

Kakashi places his hand on the door turning his head to look at the Hokage.
"She's going to come.I understand that there's going to be dangerous ninja around.I know that she is not yet strong enough to handle them just yet.Im not saying she is weak, but I know she cannot take them on yet.Thats why I'm going.And even if I can't protect her..."

"I know Naruto will."
