With tears in my eyes and a heart full of pain,
It seems like the world has gone all insane.
But in the midst of the chaos, there's a ray of light,
A simple gesture that can make everything right.
Just one hug from you, that's all that it takes,
To soothe my troubles and calm my heartbreaks.
Wrapped in your arms, I'll feel safe and secure,
And all of my worries will begin to demure.
You hold me close and whisper in my ear,
Words of comfort and love that I need to hear.
"You're not alone, I'm here by your side,"
And with just one hug, all my fears will subside.
The warmth of your embrace will chase away the cold,
And in its place, a feeling of peace will unfold.
So whenever you're feeling sad and alone,
Just remember, one hug from me and you're home.
Because of what you could have done right now.
Could have turned my sorrows upside-down.
