I'm currently sitting in the gazebo drinking my tea with a heavy heart feeling as lost as before I even came out here. Even though the view is breathtaking and the weather is wonderful it's still no help for the current mood find myself in. I have never felt this lost in my entire life and I feel like I am drowning all the time and I don't know how to drag myself out of this no matter how hard I try. And I know I need to do everything in my power to drag myself out of this sinking pit if I want any chance at keeping Daniel from becoming the villain of this story even if it means I have to claw and pull myself forward until I'm standing at the top of the pit. As I fake my emotions until even I believe the bullshit coming out of my mouth but for some reason, I can't seem to force myself to do so right now. It seems so tiring that I can't seem to be bothered to even attempt to try to pull myself out of it so I just allow myself to sink a little further into the pit of despair. Suddenly from within my pit of despair, the darkness is consuming me and then all of sudden a light appears in the form of a voice causing me to want to reach for it subconsciously wanting to cling to it like a life raft because I know only this one voice could pull me out of my despair.

I recognized that voice in an instant and it was the voice of the person I dreamed killed me just over an hour ago and also the cause of my misfortune as the owner of the voice was none other than Duke Daniel Silvermist. He said, "Now then I don't think I've ever heard you sigh so much since I met you, Miss V." I felt my heartbeat quicken as I jumped at the sound of his voice interrupting my thoughts causing my head to automatically snap back to look at him. I immediately regret doing so because now I can't take my eyes off of him. His short black hair with golden highlights was styled perfectly without a hair out of place. His violet eyes were solely trained on me watching my every move like a predator watches its prey waiting for just the right moment to strike. His high cheekbones emphasize his chiseled jaw making him ever so much more attractive. Even his body is perfect as he has slightly brood shoulders with a slightly muscular build that isn't hidden by the clothes he wore. His skin has the slightest hint of a tan from practicing sword fighting every day although most people would still say he has a pale skin tone which is of a slightly darker shade than my own which is due to the sun tanning his skin ever so lightly. He is wearing a white dress shirt, with a smokey grey vest, also matching smokey grey dress pants, black dress shoes, a grey and black striped tie, and a pair of black gloves. I swear his looks are out of this world almost as if the gods took their time craft everything about him to make sure no man could compare to his looks.

I watched as he took a step towards me with his arms raised in the air as a sign of surrender he chuckled slightly to himself "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you. I promise I had no intention to scare you as I made no effort to hide my presence and all those branches I stepped on to get over here didn't help if I was trying to catch you off guard." I couldn't help but chuckle at his clumsy apology as he was trying to defend himself to me "It's not your fault I was lost in thought and I didn't hear you coming whether or not you were silent or not in your pursuit to reach my location." He lowered his arms and smirked "Although if I may say your surprised expression is not a sight I will forget any time soon. Your reaction was just too cute that I do hope it will forever be etched into my memory." I felt my face heat up in embarrassment and I tried to hide my reddening face by turning back around in my seat hoping he didn't notice it but that hope was quickly diminished when I heard his laughter. His laughter only confirmed that he did see the early signs of my blush and he's enjoying the discomfort that he caused. At the sound of his laughter, I put my head into my hands trying to hide the deepening blush from his view even better than just turning around.

I don't know when he got so close to me but I suddenly felt his hot breath on the back of my ear "Did you know when you blush even your ears turn red?" Without thinking about it I grabbed my ears with my hands trying to hide them from his view which I regretted immediately as I realized too late that I left my face exposed. It all happened too quickly as he somehow moved to my side without me realizing it and quickly grabbed my chin with his fingers and tilted my head upwards forcing me to look up at him as I still had my hands on my ears as a way to hide them from him. He had his classic mischievous grin on his face that made all the girls fall for him without a second thought as he said "There that's better now I can see your beautiful face. There is no reason to hide your blushing face from me. You are still incredibly lovely and your reactions are rather cute." After he said that I immediately jerked my head out of his hand and turned my head away from his so he couldn't look at my face any longer. Causing him to start laughing once again and even though I enjoyed listening and watching him laugh I couldn't bear to turn my head to look at him knowing his laughter was directed at me due to my reaction to his words. I heard the sound of his feet as he began to move away from my side although I didn't dare turn around to see what he is doing. I don't bother looking at him until he says "May I join you?"
