The Light Inside the Darkness

Chapter Four

It's already been a day since we went shopping and I happen to see the Daniel for real and not just in my dreams like all the other times and it was terrifying and exciting all at the same time. Although all I did was meet his graze and my heart began to beat so fast I thought that my heart was going just fly right out of my chest. But then he turned and keep walking further away from me and I don't know why but I made a sigh of relief before my sister grabbed my hand and began pulling me back to the carriage where we then went to my favorite cafe before heading home for the day.

I woke up in the same room and bed as the day before and let a sigh escape my lips and then I sit up "So this isn't just some crazy dream I can wake up from," I said to myself. Just as I stand up from getting out of my queen size canopy princess like bed there was a knock on the door "Come in." I said after I wrapped my robe around myself and in walks my personal maid Everline whose name I would not know if it wasn't if I didn't have all of Amaryllis's memories. Everline is a very sweet and caring person who is also very good at fashion as she proved to me yesterday. She has short dark black wavy hair that is laying against her shoulders today along with her maid's outfit. She also has bright green eyes with porcelain skin and has an hourglass figure that most girl's in the modern world would kill for.

"Good morning, miss. Did you sleep well?" I nodded "Yes I did. Thanks for asking me, Everline." She nodded "Breakfast will be served soon and your father would like to have a nice meal with his daughters today." I nodded my head "Alright. Could you please help me get ready?" She smiled "Of course miss, I would be honored." 

She begins to rummage through my wardrobe looking for the perfect dress for me to looks nice for my father. Finally, she pulls out a beautiful white gown with a light lacy sky blue layer over the dress. She even pulled out a hat that matches the gown completely (picture of the gown up top). I smiled as my inner designer came out and I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I saw that dress in her hands. She then helps me to put on the very annoying but fashionable corset and then next came the petticoat to give the dress its desired look. And then she helped me to put the dress on which did help to make my blue eyes pop even more. Next, she helped me to do my makeup up but then I instructed her to make sure she did a half bun style to my hair. And then with the rest of my hair, I instructed to just curly the bottom part of my hair that we left out of the half-bun. Then I chose a sapphire necklace to go with it along with pearl earrings so that they wouldn't take away from the beauty of the dress. And then I take the hat from Everline and put it on but when I put more on the right side so it's sideways and was hanging slightly over my eye which something still new in this era but becomes more popular later down the road. 

"Wow you look incredible," Everline said. I smiled as I put on my gloves that reach my wrists with a little poof so it never actually touches my wrists that also has lace on the end of the gloves giving it a princess look to it. "Thank you." 

I began walking down towards the dining room where my father was waiting for me and my sister that arrive at the same time as me wearing a similar dress to what you see Kathryn wears when she is first introduced in the show vampire diaries I use to watch before I was brought to this place. Father looks exactly like how he does in the memories that I have because he has the same slick back gray hair. Hazel gray eyes that I nor my sister happen to possess and his chin happen to have a slight stubble of a gray beard on it from not getting it shaved recently. He also has high cheekbones with a square jaw giving him a very manly look as well as look as well as a very distinguished appearance. And he is also wearing a gray suit with a gray tie to match, making him even look very sharp as well as making him look like a person who demands your respect. 

We both took our places next to him at the head of the table with my sister on his left and with me on his right side. As I took my sit as one of the many butlers pushed me closer to the table "Sorry if we made you wait, father."
