"Doctor Banner?"

He looked up in shock.

Banner: Y-Y/N?

Banner got up in shock.

Banner: Your-your... alive?

"It's a long story. Can you help me with her?"

I pointed towards a now unconscious Kamala.

Banner: Who is she?

"Another long story."

Banner helped me pick her up and we went into the main room of the helicarrier and we laid her down.

"Bruce... What the hell happened when I was presumed dead for five years? Why did the Avenger disassemble?"

Bruce looked at me and he sighed.

Banner: After your death we became scapegoats for the disaster, with government officials, journalists and the public blaming us for the event. These were further increased when Tarleton and Monica submitted reports claiming that Stark had ignored warning reports about the reactors. This led to the US senate deciding to investigate us further and determine whether we should continue to defend the country or to disband us. At some point before these proceedings, Thor blamed himself for not saving you and he decided to leave the team and protect Earth.

"That explains the hammer I found at my grave."

Banner: Afterwards, the investigations took place, the rest of us were brought up to give testimony. Both Stark, Steve and Romanoff tried to defend the team and tried to argue that we would never endanger civilians. But... due to insecurities about the Hulk... I testified that we did pose a threat and were responsible...

"...You did what now?"

Banner: We're a danger to these people Y/N.

"Banner... What made you do this... Why?"

Banner: I'm sorry... What happened to you?

"I really don't to go into full detail all you need know is that I was held captive for five years."

Banner got up and grabbed a syringe and she took blood from Kamala.

"Uhhh?"

Banner: I wanna see something.

That's when Kamala woke up.

Kamala: Hey... what... What are you doing?

Banner: Whoa, take it easy. It's okay. Just making sure you don't die on me.

Kamala notices the blood sample in Bruce's hand.

Kamala: No, no, no... You can't just go around drawing people's blood.

Banner: I know, I know... under normal circumstances no, but these aren't normal circumstances.

Kamala: Holy crap... Dr. Banner?

Banner: Ooh no... um...

Bruce starts to whisper to himself.

Kamala: What are you talking about?

"He does that... Give him a minute."

Banner: I've spent a lot of time... um... as the... as the big guy. So...

Kamala: How long have you been here?

Banner: Ah... a few years, yeah...

He starts to examine Kamala's blood.

Banner: That's remarkable...

Kamala: Yeah, so I've been told.

Banner: So... This is why AIM bots chased you two into the desert.

"Well, I'm somewhat wanted after the incident with my escape... I kind of blew up they base."

Banner: What do you mean?

"I was held captive in a space station and upon escaping I blew it up. I then landed on earth and AIM has been chasing me... AIM, Monica and everyone else who works at AIM have been trying to cure the Inhumans but... why does it take five years to work on a cure? What if... We were set up? This entire thing... Us, AIM, the cure... It's not lining up..."

Banner: What's your plan?

"Do you know where Tony is by any chance or can we just use J.A.R.V.I.S to find him?"

Banner: There's a bus stop off highway 9, you two are going to keep heading West. And then when you do, it'll take you to our old friends who can help. Luckily Maria knows so you can easily get in.

"Hold on what about you?"

Banner: I'm sorry... I can't help you this time. I wish I could, but I can't.

"Bruce... Your smart... We need-"

Bruce: "Smart"? Look at what we did Y/N. We caused this...

"Bruce for the love of God... You gotta help us. If you wanna sit here in the dark blaming yourself then go ahead if you wanna make up for our mistake, then get off your ass and let's go."
