It's been about 4 hours since Carina first went into labor.
"Ugh, I bring new life into this world everyday, but god this hurts" Carina groans. The epidural is slowly starting to kick in.
"You're doing great, babe" Maya says in a comforting tone.
Carina's OB comes back to check how dilated she is. "Okay Dr DeLu-Carina, it's time to push. You're 10 centimeters"
"Okay" Carina starts pushing.
"Good, you're doing so good!" Carina's OB says.

"One last push, Carina" The blonde OB says.
Maya continues saying soothing things to her as she's pushing.
Carina pushes one more time.
"Okay, your baby girl is out" The blonde OB says.
"Thank you" Carina and Maya say in unison.
Carina has baby Ashlyn on her chest when there's a knock at the door. Carina and Maya's eyes go to the person in the doorway.
"Am I an aunt yet?" Andy asks.
Maya nods. "Yes, you are. Meet Ashlyn Brielle DeLuca-Bishop"
"Omg" Andy smiles. "She's so cute. She looks like you Maya"
"She's a mini Maya Bishop" Carina says. All 3 of the woman chuckle.
"Well I'm gonna let you get some rest" Andy says.
"Okay" Carina says, giving the baby to Maya before rolling over to sleep.
"Bye Andy, thanks for coming" Maya says.
"No problem, cap"
After Andy leaves, Maya puts a sleeping Ashlyn in her incubator and cuddles Carina from behind, falling asleep.
