Alicia walked in the door of her house. She began to walk through the house as if she had never been there before, when in reality, she was remembering every single happy memory her and Katie had shared in every room of that house.
As Alicia walked into the living room, she spotted her shiny, black piano, untouched. She instantly remembered her best friend begging her to learn how to play an instrument, bringing a smile to Alicia's face, tears threatening to spill once again.
She made her way into her bedroom, looking around at her messy bed, her DVD player where she saw the very last movie they ever watched together, The Longest Ride. She remembered her and Katie crying their eyes out every five minutes while they were watching their new favorite movie.
Alicia changed into her pajamas just as her mom came in.
"Alicia, you have a visitor." She told her.
Alicia nodded and went to the front door. She recognized the red orange hair and piercing blue eyes she knew as Taylor, her best guy friend. As Alicia opened the door, she almost threw herself at him as she hugged him.
"Taylor, what are you doing here? I haven't seen you in ages." Alicia asked him, "The last time I saw you, you told me you were moving to England and that was last month. Decide to stay here with me?" Alicia teased.
"Actually yes." Taylor said.
