I've been staying at Leah's since my apartment was broken into, she has helped me to move past it and have a good time.
All of our Arsenal games were finished now, there was nothing left but to wait until the England call ups which I was hopeful for. Tomorrow is the day we will find out ahead of friendlies with Belgium, The Netherlands and Switzerland then finally the start of the Euros.
Everything I have at Villa and Arsenal was to give me the best chance at a call-up, Leah's was already confirmed given she is the captain and won the Arnold Clark Cup this year with them.
Despite this, she was still a nervous wreck.
"What if Sarina decides I wasn't good as captain?" Leah asked, pacing the room.
"You captained them to victory, Le" I responded, I remained seated on the sofa watching her pace nervously.
"Still that doesn't matter, what if she thought someone could do better and I don't get called?" Leah had now sat down on the sofa on the opposite side of the room.
"Leah, you won the Arnold Clark Cup, the first one too. You captained that team, no one else and also, Sarina is a very smart woman, she would not have chosen you if she didn't think you were up to it." I reassured her, which seemed to make her relax a little once she had heard my reasoning.
"Yeah, she is smart." Leah took a deep breath and leaned back, I went over and joined her on the other sofa, cuddling into her side as she wrapped her arm around me, "What about you, are you excited?"
"Excited? I have never played for England, I am shitting bricks right now!" I exclaimed, also letting out a deep breath.
"We've got this" Leah whispered and placed. kiss on my forehead.
Over the last few weeks Leah and I had gotten closer, we shared a bed and went everywhere together. The conversation of me going back to my apartment hadn't even come up.
The police had been in and found some fingerprints and other things, I didn't really take in what they were saying but I'm sure Leah did. I just couldn't stand the thought of someone else being in there where I live, where I eat, shower and sleep.
Beth, Katie and a few of the girls had heard and had sent me loads of messages in the group chat, knowing how much they all cared definitely helped. But right now, it's just me and Leah, and I would keep it that way forever if I could.

"My god Leah turn that off" I groaned, thinking Leah had set an alarm on a day when we did not need one.
"It's not mine Ro, it's yours" Leah mumbled, slamming her face back into the pillow.
I sat up and grabbed my phone from the bedside table, seeing it was an unknown number calling me. Reluctantly I answered.
"Hello?"
"Robin?" A female voice with a strong accent came through the phone.
"Yes, who is this?" I questioned, it was too early and I was too tired to put the pieces together.
"Hello Robin, Its Sarina Wiegman!" My heart fell to my stomach and I was immediately awake.
"Oh hi, I am so sorry I wasn't expecting a call" I explained, trying to backtrack on how I answered the phone.
"Not a problem I understand it's early! I wanted to let you know that you have been selected for the Euros squad this summer!" Tears began to form in my eyes, this was everything I had worked for and it was finally happening.
