Chapter - 17 - Break-in

"Are you in love with him?" He questioned.
Hana took a deep breath and pondered for some time.

"I don't know." She said, shaking her head lightly. "I enjoy hanging out with him. I forget everything when I'm with him. He's sort of my comfort zone. But, to your question I really don't have an answer." She adds in which Dae Hyun nods.

"You have no idea, because you have never fallen in love with anyone. I won't say anything, your feelings are yours to figure out. I'm here to say just don't forget our mission." He said patting her head.

"You're right, even though it was for a while I did forget what we actually came here for." She breathes out, watching the guy carefully as he sits there waiting for her to complete her sentence.

"Let's get back on track. No time to waste." The arrogant grin returned to her face.
"Cool." He replies, voice clipped before he stands up from the bed.

Dae Hyun left the house immediately saying he had something else to do.
Everyone left Hana's house after cleaning up the mess they made. Hana sat right in front of the door saying they wouldn't leave the house if they didn't clean. She even took their cell phones so that they wouldn't escape through the windows. So, without any other choice they ended up cleaning.

6:00

"The bloods have been meeting up with Infinities for the past few days continuously." Chenle arranged an emergency meeting early in the morning to announce this.
Everyone was still feeling sleepy, but this news was like an Americano with 8 shots for them.

"Shit." Haechan muttered.
"Although they unite, there aren't a lot of people in them compared to us." Jaemin said.

"Blood has brain while Infinities have people, so we should be careful." Hana said, she's been analyzing about it for the past few days.

Mark got a call, he answered right away. Thousands of expressions appeared on his face, causing them to panic.
"Fuck, we'll get there soon." He cut the line and watched them.

"They entered our fourth base, some files were stolen. But they can't figure out which one was stolen. We have to go now." They were all on their heels, ready to go. They immediately left the house.

"Where the hell were you guys when they entered the base?" Haechan shouted, he's actually scary when he gets angry.

"We couldn't get hold of them, boss, sorry." Both the guards of the office apologized at the same time.

The other members were looking for the file that was stolen.
"They stole the file regarding our details." Jeno said.
"Why would they steal that?"

"They are still not using their brains." Hana laughed.
"Huh?"
"Listen, they entered the fourth base, which is barely even guarded. Then they steal the most useless file. They. Are. Trying. To. Distract. Us." Hana said clicking the pen for every single word she said.
"They must have seen Johnny and Ten, which made them do this useless stuff." Hana huffed.

Everyone hummed in response.
"How many people were there?" Jaemin asked the guards who were now shivering with fears.
"A... Around 5." He stuttered.
"Mark, make sure if all the files are there. Others check the surroundings. If anything seems strange, notify me right away. Renjun, gather information on who entered."

"Hana, come with me, we will check the basement. And don't waste your time talking about unnecessary stuff, I need everything done within the hour." Jaemin said, leaving the base. Hana caught up with him.
"Jaemin, can I get a copy of the file they stole?"
"Okay,"

"Where are we going?" Hana questioned as they enter the parking lot.
"The blood's base." He takes his cordless phone and starts texting something.
"Now? We Alone? Have you gone mad Jaemin?" She question his sudden boldness.

"I thought you were brave Hana." He stops in his tracks and turns towards her, folding his hands on his muscular chest.
"It doesn't have anything to do with braveness. Without the members, without a proper plan, what do you think we can do?" She asks, taking a step forward.

"I was just kidding Lee Hana." He said poking  Hana's temple. "We are going to the dream base. The chances of them entering the main base is high now, so we have to be there. Hana, a listening device was attached under the table. They were listening to every single word we were speaking. Maybe, they were trying to stall our time."

"I still don't understand this stupid plan of theirs." said Hana, when she was busy hiding weapons in her body.

"Like you said, they just want to distract us. They definitely hacked the camera there. That's why I left the members there."
"Wouldn't they know we are not there?"
"The basement doesn't have a camera and we came through the basement to the parking lot so the answer is No."

Hana hummed finally getting something from the puzzle. But, there is a missing piece. Why did they do something stupid like this? There has to be a different plan.

Hana was hacking into the information about the bloods. Took her a long time to hack it, they got some good hackers.
Meanwhile, Jaemin was going through the files carefully.

"There's nothing much here." Hana said as she spins her chair around to face Jaemin.
"Even here, it's just our basic information, so why would they steal it?"

"I can feel my head exploding." Hana sighed as she laid her hands on her head.

Her hair had began to fall out of places from her high ponytail. His eyes just focused on her. He pulled her chair closer towards him. Their knees brushing to one another, their faces just inches apart. She mirrored the grin on Jaemin's face.

"What are you doing Na Jaemin?" Hana mutters softly, his eyes fixed on her.

He doesn't say anything, Hana looked up him leaving her gaze from her hands, only to meet his heavy stare, that didn't leave her for a long time.

"I don't know, maybe I just wanted to see you closer." He grins.
"That's a stupid excuse Na Jaemin." Hana giggles, trying to hide her nervousness.
"I know."

Sudden clattering noise made them part from each other. Hana was facing her laptop like she was always on it. Jaemin was turning the pages of the files like there's no tomorrow.

"Jaemin, nothing seemed suspicious." Mark entered the house along with the others. Mark was talking about the base, but that sentence made Hana and Jaemin look at each other.
"What's that strange atmosphere?" Haechan asked, waving his finger back and forth from Hana to Jaemin.

"Jaemin, I hope you didn't forget your dad's birthday tomorrow." Jeno says.
"Thanks for the reminder." Jaemin said.
