Clarification: Robin is a girl and Roe is a boy. They were practically twins.

After a long and tiring day I waited for our parents at the school parking lot. My brother have soccer practice and have to stay for a while in the gym. A honk from my dad's car and I walked towards them. I opened the door in the back seat, placed my backpack at the corner and climbed inside the car.
"Hi mom! Hi dad" I said leaning towards my parents to kiss their cheek.
"How's school sweetie?" Asked mom as dad started driving.
"It's fine mom as usual." I answered.
Dad just stayed quite but listens to our conversation. The ride home is quite. Few minutes later we've arrive at our house. I quickly got out of the car and went to my room to change. I started at my homework later.
"Robin? Dinner is ready!" Dad called.
I got up from bed and went downstairs. My parents were already settled in their seat. My mouth watered at the food in the table. Mom is great at the kitchen. I took a slice of roasted chicken and pasta in my plate.
"You seem silent Robin?" Asked dad with a smile. My dad really observant.
"Is it because of that dream again? You've been dreaming a lot lately and so is you're brother" he added. A look of concern from my dad makes me smile. We're really lucky to have them both.
"It's okay dad. My dreams are not that bad. Well some of them." I answered.
"Don't you think a little vacation would help?" Mom said.
I perked up at the word vacation. Schools almost over and a vacation sounds pretty good to me. Dad laughed at my shining face while mom smile wider.
"I think theres no need for a little convincing then" she added.
After dinner, we lounged at the living room watching TV. Roe has arrived already and sat beside me at the floor.
"So? I heard we're going on a vacation." Roe asked wiggling his eyebrows. He is just as excited as I was.
"Actually, its just the two of you. We've got work to do but we promised to catch up anytime soon." Said dad.
"You'll be spending your whole vacation with your grandma." Mom added.
Just the thought of our grandma made us smile widely. Her place is very nice with lake and forest. I yawned again and dad decided that it's time to sleep.
"Can I sleep with you?" I asked my brother.
"Of course you can sleep with me." He answered while putting his hand on my shoulder. We entered his room and he tucked me to bed.
"Goodnight Robin." He said as he kissed my forehead before climbing to his side of the bed.
"Goodnight Roe" I mumbled as I drifted off to sleep.
