Jerrod's POV

"Jerrod" my father called as I entered the waiting area at the airport. I grin at my old man.

It's been 4 years since I come home. I was sent to Europe to study and train how to be a leader. It's not just about leadership but how to become a respected leader that counts.

My family has been in leadership for more than a century since the kingdom has fallen.

During the attack the King and Queen were killed and the royal twin got lost in time.

No one really knew what exactly happened to the twins.

It's like they just vanished and people's memory of them has been locked up deep in their minds. Their portraits in the castle were gone. Only a couple of identical swords remained.

They said its the twin's weapons. No one dared to use it. The swords were kept in our custody and safe.

The swords looked dull and rusty seem like they were waiting for their owner to hold them so they can come back to life.

"You seem to be in deep thoughts son." My father said breaking my trance.

"Nothing dad. It's just, it's been years. I'm quiet amazed by the changes." I told him.

We walked to the parking lot towards our car.

"We'll there's nothing much that changed." He just shrugged.

Placing my suitcase at the car compartment.

"You seem to have grown old lately dad. I can see gray strands in your hair." I humor him a bit. My father glared at me.

"We age rather slowly son. You can tease me other than that." I laughed at him.

Seriously, my father looked young the age of forty. Anyone could easily mistaken him to be thirty by the he moves and looks.

We now have the same built and height. Probably standing at 6'3 and I'm sure I could still surpass him. I'm still eighteen. I can grow a bit more.

He's a brunnett but I'm blonde I got it from my mother though with my sky blue eyes. Speaking of mother.

"Where's mom?" I asked. She seemed to be not missing me that much.

"Oh your mother, she's been very busy with your welcome party. She's taking it a bit seriously." Father sighed.

I cringed at the word party. God I hate party. Its just annoying me. All those people and dancing and everything else.

"Oh joy!" I muttered as we entered the car.

I looked sideways and caught a glimpse of a dark haired girl walking with an old lady and another dark haired boy. They're twins obviously. I straightenes in my seat and sucked my breathe as I saw her smiled at the old woman while she handed the boy her car keys.

She's beautiful. Very beautiful to be exact.

They entered their car and started driving. I watched as they drove off.

"Seatbelts son. Your zoning off again." Father shake his head at me.

I put my seatbelt on. And he started driving. My mind kept on thinking about the girl.

Something feels odd about her. I want to see her again. I stared at the window as we sped off the road.

Raven Valley.

It's been awhile but I'm back.
