CHAPTER 14 AWAKENED

I felt like I was someone else but I am still Robin Shaw and my brother is Roland Shaw. Our parents Oliver Shaw and Rebecca Shaw. I know we are but those memories were very real to.

After last night I became Robin Thorne and my twin is Roland Thorne. Children of King Alexander Thorne and Queen Eve Thorne. The lost twins.

I swear that's us in those series of events but how? We grew up with my mom and dad. We have photographs when I and Roe's still kids. Our mom have this scar when she gave birth to us through C-section. It's confusing.

I rose from the bed and went to the window. My brother's still fast asleep on the bed next to mine.

We have to figure this out.

It feels good though. The change. I woke up moments ago feeling different, a good different. I mean, my senses they were all hightened.

My visions were twice as clear as before. My sense of smell did improve too. My hearing is way too kin its overwhelming. I feel stronger like there's endless energy flowing inside me.

I move towards the identical swords that was lying at the table between our beds. They've changed too.

Wow! They looked magnificent.

I picked up the smaller one. It weighs like a feather. I reach to touch the blade. The two sided blade of the sword looks very sharp. I winced in a sudden pain when I accidentally cut my finger with it. I just stared at my bloodied finger as the cut healed almost immediately.

Talk about being awesome!

I laughed to myself. But I gasp as I remembered granny and our parents.

Oh my God! She must be freaking out by now! Mom would skin us alive when she finds out!

"Roe! Wake up!" I shook my brother roughly.

He just turn his back on me just like what he used to do so I decided to kick him out of bed like I always do. I'm not surprised when he landed in a painful thud and yelled.

"Robin! I swear if you kick me out of bed again I'm gonna beat you!" He ranted as he got up. I put my hands on my hips and glared at him.

"I'd like to see you try." I said raising my eyebrow.

He scoffed and creased his forehead as he realized that were not in granny's house.

"Where the hell are we?" He asked eying around.

"Well apparently were still at the castle. Did you honestly forgot what happened last night?" He looked at me and a flash of recognition went through his eyes.

"Oh yeah right!" His eyes grew wide as he continued. "Shit! Granny. She must be dead worried!"

"She's probably worried but not dead, idiot!" I laughed at him. Looking down at himself he sighed in relief.

"I would certainly kiss the one who get rid of that stupid suit for me!" He grinned. I just rolled my eyes at him.

"Would you still kiss if you would know its a boy who changed you?" I teased and he flinched.

"Hell no!" He waved his hand above his head.

I shook my head at him. His hopeless. I handed him the other sword and he flicked it turning the weapon into a necklace.

Perks of being Eve Thornes' children.

I did the same and wear it around our necks. We started walking out the room. Roe followed after me as we headed for the entrance.

The castle had been changed a bit.

Three men walked towards us and I remembered one of them as the blonde boy at the party. I recognized another man next to him to be the mayor and on the other side next to him as a part of our father's coven. He's skin is very pale. A vampire. He bowed his head at us.

"Matthew" Roe spoke from behind me. The man nodded.

"Your highness." He said to us.

"Please don't call us that. I prefer Roe." My brother corrected him as he grinned cheekily.

"Robin." I inserted. He looked at us surprised.

"If that's what you wish." He said smiling at us. We both nodded and smiled at him too.

"Your Robert West right?, the mayor or would you prefer alpha." I asked the older man and eyed the blonde boy. My stomach is twisting into knots as I watch the blonde boy.

"Yes princess." He answered courtly at me.

"Oh please. It's Robin. In fact your incharge here right now. We'd rather stick to that." I told him. I watched his eyes grew wide.

"But -" He started arguing but I quickly interrupt him.

"You can't expect two teenagers to rule Raven Valley you know. Besides your doing a great job at it. Ramsis would be very proud" I waved him off as he was about to open his mouth again.

"We wish to go check with our grandma. She must be worried by now." I said to them. The three of them looked at eachother before the younger one speak.

"Your granny is here actually. She's with my mom right now. I think they're preparing something for you to eat." He flashed as a wide smile.

Oh my God! There's those butterflies again.

I looked away from him to hide my discomfort. My thoughts were really out of hand right now.

"I'm afraid we didn't have proper introductions. I'm Jerrod by the way." He stretched out his hand to me but Roe grabbed and shook it for me. I just sigh in relief as my hands were ice cold now.

What's wrong with me. Get a grip Robin!

I mentally kicked myself. I'm not supposed to be behaving this way.

"My names Roe and this is Robin." My twin muttered with a grin. "Would you like to show us the kitchen? I'm starving and I doubt if I ever find my way around here. The place had been changed."

"Show them the way Jerrod. We have to go ahead. We still have works to do. Your high- uhm Roe, Robin please excuse us" Robert bowed his head at us and left with Matthew.

"Shall we?" He gestured at us to follow him. Soon enough we entered a huge modern dining hall. Next to it was the kitchen behind those fancy looking double doors.

"Robin! Roland! How are you feeling?" Our granny hurried ss we came in sight. She hugged us.

"We're fine granny." We said in unison and laughed.

"Oh your habits did not change!" Granny shook her head and lead us to sit the table. Her yummy waffles are piled high at our plates.
"Bon a petite!" Roe exclaimed as he dig at his food.

"Manners Roe!" I kicked his legs Under the table but he just continued eating his food savagely. Glanced up to see Jerrod watching me. He shamelessly stare at me and winked. I nearly choke at my food.

Oh! this is bad!
