Chapter Six: The Party.

The party definitely wasn't a good idea. Cara brought me over and dress to wear, and has basically shoved me into a tight black and white dress, with black heels.
"This is the most uncomfortable dress I've ever been in," I say, as the dress is the tightest dress I've ever seen in my life.
"But it shows of your ass and your boobs so you're wearing it," Cara says, and I roll my eyes. I pick up a grey jumper and put that on over the top, before Cara pushes me down into a chair and starts to do my hair. She basically just straightens it, leaving it down my back. "Your hair is so long, it's literally at your ass. I'm going to have to tie it up," Cara chuckles. She ties it's into a ponytail and pulls stands out from some places, so it looks messy. Then she starts in the makeup. It's natural makeup, my normal makeup, with slightly more mascara and darker red lipstick. The doorbell rings then, and I go downstairs with Cara. "Have fun!" Cara says, as I open the door.
"Hey Ria," Oli smiles on the doorstep. He looks at what I'm wearing, and nods in approval. I wave at Cara, before walking down the path with Oli.
"You're the person they forced to get me then," I say, and Oli chuckles.
"Nah, they were arguing over who would get you, so I just left and got you," Oli chuckles, and I roll my eyes.
"Sure," I say sarcastically.
"Have fun tonight, yeah? You deserve it," Oli says, and I smile.
"I'm sure I will," I reply, before we get in the car. Oli is in the drivers seat, and I'm sat in the seat behind him next to River. On the other side of River is Charlie, and in front of Charlie is Marcus. I'm assuming Lucas isn't going then.
"Hey Ria," Marcus smiles at me.
"Hey Marcus," I reply, smiling. I look out the window, watching the familiar surroundings move past.
"So princess, are you excited?" River asks, curiously. No, I'm not, honestly. What if they all ditch me? What if I just and up alone for the night?
"Yeah, sure," I lie, and River sends me a look, as if he knows that I'm lying.
"What's bothering you?" River asks, quietly.
"Nothing, it's fine, I'm fine," I reply, forcing a smile. River frowns, but leaves it at that.
It'll be fine, Ria, just loosen up a bit.
We arrive at the party, and I can already tell that I will have a headache from the volume of the music. We all get out the car, and I spot Lucas outside. Lucas grins at me, and I smile back. We all walk inside, and everyone immediately separates. So they did ditch me. I sigh, getting a lemonade and sitting down on a chair. I take out my phone and pretend to be texting, when I'm just scrolling down my contacts. I also feel very insecure without my grey jumper on.
"Ria, come and dance," I hear Lucas say, and I look up from my phone, that is running out of charge. I take Lucas's hand, and he pulls me over to the dance floor.
"Did the others leave you?" Lucas asks, curiously.
"Yeah, assholes," I reply, and Lucas laughs. I spot River stood on the other side of the room, leaning against a wall. He has girls all over him, and River just smirks. I roll my eyes at the guy, and Lucas chuckles, seeing where I looked.
"I know, awful, right?" Lucas says, and I smile.
"Yeah," I reply, and Lucas chuckles.
"I'm going to the loo, I'll see you later," Lucas grins, before walking away. I start to walk away from dance floor when doe some grabs my arm and pulls me into their chests. I place my hands on their shoulders to stop me from pushing them over, and I look up to see someone from my art class, Tyler Barlow.
