Chapter Four: Suspension.

After going to the shops, Cara and I sit in my room, waiting for River to go to sleep. It isn't really necessary, but it makes it more exciting. By this point, I've changed into some grey sweatpants and a loose black crop top. River eventually goes to sleep, as his light finally turns off. Then Cara and I head downstairs and outside. I take River's car keys out my pocket, and unlock his car, before starting to decorate. We bought lots of tin foil and cling film. We're covering the inside of his car in tin foil, and the outside in cling film. We start filling the car with the tin foil, and we get this done quite quickly, before starting the outside. Cara has to leave about halfway through, leaving me to do the rest. It doesn't take long, but there is a lot of layers. Then I face the problem of giving him his car keys back. When I say give, I mean get them back in his room. I sigh, locking his car and going up to my room. I open my window, and carefully climb over to his window.
It isn't hard to get in his room, and I walk over to where I found his keys, next to his bedside table. The floorboard creaks, and I freeze momentarily, before carefully placing the keys on the bedside table. They make a quiet sound, but River stirs in his sleep. His arms reach out for my waist and pull me onto the bed next to him. I freeze, as I feel his lips press lightly against my neck. His arms stay around my waist, and stay still, not knowing what to do. It's when I slowly start to move when he wakes up.
"What the- shit. Ria, if we slept together I am so sorry but I don't remember any of it," River says, looking surprised.
"As if I'd lower myself to your standards," I scoff, and River frowns.
"So we didn't sleep together or anything? Then why are you in my room?" River questions, moving his arms away from my waist, and I stand up.
"Um...you'll find out," I say, and River sits up in his bed.
"What have you done?" River asks, curiously. I smile mischievously, and River frowns.
"I was protecting something from the dirt. I haven't broken anything, it was decoration, like yours," I say, and River shrugs.
"Fancy staying the rest of the night at mine?" River smirks, winking at me.
"I bet you'd love it if I did," I smirk, moving towards the window. River chuckles.
"I would," River says, before I leave. I get into my bed, and smile to myself.
Revenge is sweet.

In the morning, I wake up early and quickly get dressed and ready for school. I wear some dark blue skinny jeans and an old dance top, my hair is straightened down my back and my makeup is carefully done. I hop downstairs cheerfully, and sit down at the table. Chloe and Mum are already down there, and look at me curiously. I just smile, quickly eating my breakfast, before leaving the house. I walk outside and immediately see River staring at his car in shock. Oli, Marcus, Lucas and Charlie are all laughing, and I wave cheerfully at River, who narrows his eyes.
"You asked for it, really," I shrug, and River shakes his head at me.
"Why didn't I get it last night? It was so obvious," River mutters, and I smirk.
"Probably because you were too busy thinking about me in bed. Have fun getting it all off," I smirk, before flouncing away.

My car stands in front of me, covered in cling film and tin foil. Oli, Marcus, Lucas and Charlie are laughing, and I scowl at them. Though I have to admit, the girl did good. It was a pretty decent prank.
