⚔️⚔️⚔️

After we've reached Haven, everyone seemed to have seen Cole. Which I am still unable to understand why.
Solas believes it has to do with something that Cole can do, power wise.

But already, my advisors, and most of my party don't like him.

"it is a demon. You should disband him immediately before he hurts any of us."

"I'm not saying nothing 'bout that. That thing is just wrong."

"Uh, Boss? What is that thing over there? He's scaring the servants."

I can't tell you how many times I've had to explain to everyone about Cole. Luckily, Solas found him fascinating.

"It appears that Cole is indeed a spirit, but also posseses bits and pieces of being human. As if he's caught in between the Fade and reality."

I talked with Solas about Cole for an hour, trying to get a better understanding of him since Solas is literally the 'spirit, demons and Fade' expert. Though he too, didn't know what to think. Only that Cole is both spirit and human, caught in between two worlds.

Strange...how could that have happen? A possession gone wrong? Mage magic? A ritual? The questions make my head ache, even while I sit outside, watching people dance and drink. This is a time to celebrate, not hide away like I'm doing.

After all, we closed the breach.

It's over...

Cassandra approaches me. "Solas said that the sky is scarred, but calm. This was a victorious day, Nalia."

I look at her. "I still don't feel right though," I reply, glancing at my hand that holds the Anchor. I get this odd feeling in my chest, a pinch of some sort, something that's saying it's only just begun.
Thinking something like that will only ruin our victory, though.

Cassandra sighs, annoyed at my negative spirit. "There are still many fade rifts spread throughout Fereldan and Orlais. Perhaps that's it?"

"I don't know..." I whisper, before something, a glint from the mountains, catches my eyes.

Lights. Hundreds of them, walking straight for Haven.

The bell begins to ring, and Cassandra unsheathes her sword. "Quickly! We must get to the gate!"

I follow behind right when the others run up beside me.

"So, victory drinks on hold?" Iron Bull asks, halfway through a bite of a piece of meat.

"Obviously!" I shout, running to Cullen whose talking with Cassandra.
"There's an army of them, coming straight for us."
"Under what banner?" Josephine asks, coming to his side.

Cullen hesitates for a moment. "None."

"None?!" Josephine asks, shock in her voice.

I stare down at the crack in the door. Lights flash, and the door bangs. "I didn't travel all this way just to be ignored!" A man's voice shouts on the outside.

I push the doors open to see a tan skin man with a head of black hair and mustache, dressed in fine clothing and a staff attached to his back.

He's frantic, looking at everyone before his eyes land on me.
"We need to leave. Now."

"Who are you?" I ask, surprised by this man's sudden appearance. "How did you get here?"

"Why does that matter?!" He shouts, loud enough to make me jump a little.
"The Elder One is coming to kill you all!"
