NALIA
⚔️⚔️⚔️The healers managed to keep my wounds from getting infected, now they're wrapped tight with bandages and nearly healed.
Still though, I have no time for rest.
Chaos is spreading throughout Thedas, people are becoming more and more frightened, Fade rifts are popping up unexpectedly, and we need more soldiers if we want to win this war against Corypheus.Sometimes I think that this will never be over, but I try to remind myself that as long as I'm breathing, I will end it.
Leliana walks beside me as we approach one of her crows. "My agents sent me word of the Wardens," we come to a stop when we're barley an inch away from the railing. "Stroud has left Thedas and returned to the Warden Fortress. Though I must admit, your decision was drastic, we struck a blow against Corypheus."
"That's the most important matter," I reply, leaning against the railing, exhaling a deep long breath. I'm completely exhausted. I've been getting up at 4 in the morning, running around and discussing about alliances with Josephine, training for battle with Cullen and Cassandra, and reading reports from Leliana.
It's been a week since we were at Adamant, and I've barely had a moment to spare.
I've been so busy with everything else, I haven't seen any of my party members that joined me during the fight in the Fade.Hopefully, today, I'll be able to spend some time with my friends.
Leliana glances at me from the corner of her eye after a few silent moments. "We've discussed everything we needed to. You can go do whatever else you need done."She walks away, going to one of her agents to discuss something in private.
She's changed a little every since I told her about what Justinia said. She's quiet, and even when Leliana does speak, it's cold and dangerous.Leliana is becoming a little heartless now...and it's starting to scare me.
I go down the steps and enter Solas's room. He isn't here, which is surprising. Usually I'll find him staring down at stacks of papers or Shards we've found during our travels.Where is he though?
I wanted to talk to him about several things. The Fade, Corypheus, and some more information about the Shards.
There some other things I wanted to discuss, but I guess it won't be happening today.I leave Solas's room, walking down the steps of Skyhold and going to the tavern.
Sera is hanging off the ceiling, drunk off her wits. Iron Bull is laughing his ass off sitting in his chair, and the bard singer has ran to the other side of the room and called Sera a bunch of vulgar names. They all act so childish, but I guess we need to sometimes, that way we don't drive ourselves to insanity.
I avoid going under Sera just in case, I do not want to be the one to catch her when she falls, and I go up the steps and towards the corner of the tavern to see Cole standing there. My heart flutters when I see him.
I approach him. "Hello," I wave, which catches his attention.
He jumps a little when he sees me, but when he realizes that it's me, he exhales softly.
"It's good to spend time with you," he says, his way of saying 'hello'It makes my cheeks blush furiously.
I rub at my face with my sleeves. "I was just checking to see how you were doing.""I'm fine," he answers, stretching his arms upwards to reveal a deep slash that's infected.
My eyes widen. "Cole," I grab his arm which makes him tense up. I push his sleeve further up, only to find that he has multiple cuts that are infected. He hasn't been getting them treated?!
"It doesn't hurt," he says, but I only stare at him in complete shock.
"Cole...they need to be cleaned and properly bandaged," I wrap my hand around his and lead him out of the tavern.
I can't believe he hasn't been to the healers! Why is he letting himself get to this point?!
