When they'd arrived in a quiet, empty room, Jasmin pulled down her dark hood, almost falling down in the process. Winter had left them alone for a while, trying to find out more about Flower the scavenger.

"Careful," Qibli warned, as Winter flipped back his own. "Well, this is a surprise. Why do you want to see me?"

"Well, I had a few questions and I'm hoping you have a few answers." Jasmin suddenly felt very stupid. Why am I confessing my darkest  secrets to my friend?

"Why me? I'm far from the wisest dragon in Pyrrhia." Qibli wrinkled his snout. "You should've gone to Starflight or maybe Stonemover."

"Well, none of them have gone through childhood abuse, so I was wondering how to overcome that," She started sheepishly. "I'm having some trouble after...you know."

"Oh. Well, I think I'm not the right dragon for you to ask," Qibli shrugged. "I've been pretty happy since Cobra abandoned me, and I could sneak away from my brother and sister easily."

"So, any advice?" Jasmin asked.

"Well, just try to forget everything. Forget about Wasp, forget the HiveWings, forget all the things you've encountered," Qibli suggested. "But that's all I've got for you. I think the best way to heal mental wounds is to continue your normal life."

"Come on," Jasmin nodded to Winter. "We're done. Let's go back to the rainforest."

"Already?" The IceWing looked up from a small female scavenger. It had rested a tiny paw on his talon, and had drawn back, shivering. "We were just warming up to each other."

"Well, you can stay," Jasmin shrugged. "I can go by myself."

"Fine." Winter grumbled, then patted the scavenger on the head one last time before following her outside. "Did you get your answers?"

"Kind of." Not really.

"That's good."

"...Yeah. I guess so."
