After a short flight, Jasmin arrived at the RainWing village. She spotted Queen Glory lying in her vine hammock on the pavilion, and she swooped down towards her, landing awkwardly on three feet.

"Jasmin." The young RainWing queen greeted the hybrid. "I see Moon found you."

Jasmin dipped her head respectfully. "Did you want me for anything, Your Majesty?"

"Actually, yes." Glory shifted in her hammock, and Silver, her pet sloth, clambered down her arm. "I don't see you resting very much, and you always return after sun-time looking quite tired. I'm not stupid; I do notice Deathbringer disappears and appears around the same time as you do."

"So you want to know what I'm doing?" Jasmin asked. Glory nodded, her dark green eyes flashing some emotion that she could only assume as jealousy or worry.

"I'm practicing with Deathbringer," Jasmin shrugged. "You know, battle training and stuff."

"Battle training." Glory raised her eyebrows disbelievingly. "Battle training. That sounds like torture to me-"

"Yes!" Jasmin shut her eyes. "Yeah, I know it was wrong, I'll just go rest right now and goodbye thank you for your worrying..."

"Jasmin! Wait!" Glory called. "I'm sorry, I forgot about what you've went through. I just find it a bit...strange that you're suddenly so friendly with Deathbringer again."

"Oh. Alright. Sorry." Jasmin shuffled on her claws, her talon twitching nervously. "It's complicated; I've just found out that he's my half-brother, that's all."

"Excuse me?" Glory started, but Jasmin was already beating her wings.

"Go and get some rest!" The RainWing queen shouted.

Jasmin glided down towards a wide tree branch that basked in the sunlight. She laid down with a sigh, her wings spread out to absorb the bright light. A black, furry shape leaped onto the branch, and padded silently towards Jasmin.

"Eclipse," She sighed. "Good to see you again."

Eclipse purred, her silver patterns glowing like the moon. Her bright blue eyes were narrowed as Jasmin scratched her behind the ear. The ocelot flopped down besides her, long tail wrapped elegantly around her curled-up body. Jasmin put her wings around Eclipse, closing her eyes, and slowly slipped into the darkness.
