When Lin Xingren spotted the blood crawling out of the stall door, the girl inside was already dead.
She slowly pushed open the unlocked stall door. The door creaked.
Xiao-Xiao Yu?
Lin Xingren shrieked, stunning the people walking by in the hallways. They peered in from outside the bathroom door and started shrieking and gasping themselves.
She crouched down and shook Xiao Yu. There was no reaction. She felt her pulse. There was no pulse.
Her vision grew blurry, subconsciously wanting to censor everything in front of her eyes, and she lost balance, falling straight onto the steamy and sticky ground.
Blood went all over her hair, her body, and her hands as she supported herself to stand up. She stared at her palms in a daze, then looked out the window. The wind coming from it chilled her frail body .

"When are you coming down? "
"No! I'm not coming down! I'm never coming down! Hmph!" the little girl whined.
Where am I? Coming down?
Lin Xingren rubbed her eyes and saw the little girl hanging upside down on the green monkey bars of her elementary school playground.
Ah. I remember this. Why this, why right now?
So ironic.
"All we did was bake together last Saturday, " the buddy tried to reassure and calm the little girl down.
"No, you guys made a whole baking club! Without me! It must be Liu Gujing! She's such a meanie."
"Why Liu Gujing? " the buddy showed a slight impatience, "Why are you always blaming her for everything? You didn't even invite her to your birthday party. We're all friends, you know."
"I just...I just dislike her!"
So unreasonable...Can't you just wake up and see your own flaws? You don't know yet...how sad it is to not be invited to the birthday parties of the people you thought were friends. You'll only know when you experienced it yourself.
"You know what, Imma revenge!" the little girl continued hollering. "This is a secret, but Imma do something soon. I'll take revenge."
Stop acting so serious about something you'll forget about in five minutes. The listener isn't an audience for your plays.
"Don't, Xingren, please don't," the buddy pleaded in stress, "why can't we just all be friends, and be nice to each other? These things...are all not a big deal."
Yeah...why can't we just all be friends, and be nice to each other? Can't you see what is most important?
The little girl climbed down the monkey bars and twisted her face in a confused expression.
"But why? I always take an eye for an eye. Why isn't it a big deal? Why shouldn't we revenge when someone did something bad to us? "
"Because, Lin Xingren, we're friends. We try to understand each other. I don't like getting into a fight with my friends."
No.
I wish you did.
I wish you didn't just try to understand me, but fought me, scolded me until I could try to understand you and the others. I wish you didn't just give up on me when you couldn't take it anymore.

"It's Lin Xingren!"
Lin Xingren came back to her senses.
