Queen of the Cold Castle

Chapter Two:

My body woke as I felt the creature swoop lower to its surrounding, that's when I realised I was mid air with only talons keeping me in place but yet I wasn't panicking. The creature consisted of Skelton bones it was magnificent and beautiful, he made a sharp turn to the right and my mouth dropped. It was real and I was here, there below me stood two castles, one was a dark and mysterious but felt right whereas across a bridge that joint the two was one which sparkled in the morning sun and had lovely gardens. It was clear which one was which, to my delight the bird like creature glided towards the one which was dark, gloomy and didn't have much sunlight which was odd probably a spell. However the bird unfortunately released me from its grip and I began my fast decent into the murky water below me, I closed my eyes waiting for the impact. 

I landed with a large splash thankfully uninjured. As I resurfaced I began my swim towards the shore, no one was around which worried me surely there would be other students or at least some faculty. I followed a path which led to a dark dimly lid hallway, after a few moments I could hear the chatter of students and found my self in an entrance hall. It was a grand hall which many would find intimidating by the way it was decorated, it had painting and portraits of past villains and faculty, along with the  letters N E V E R across the wall. There were magnificent grand staircases on either side of the room made of hard stone that led to the towers. In the middle of the staircases on the ceiling was a large glass chandelier which was dim and gave very little light. At the top pf the staircase on the left was a sign carved with monsters read MALICE, another one in the middle etched with spiders said MISCHIEF, and the last on the right with snakes read VICE.  Around the room also stood guards however they look like werewolves that stood on two feet and to my surprise could talk. 

A loud bang of a cane silenced the room, it was now dead silent. "Attention Future Evil" a powerful female voice shouted "I am Lady Lesso, Dean for the School for Evil. If you open your eyes, you will find your dormitories and class schedules around the room, the welcoming ceremony starts soon and classes begin tomorrow morning. Make evil proud." with that she turned and left. I never got a good look at her as the room was extremely crowded, I simply waited for most people to go before looking for my name. On the table I found and envelope with my name written on 'Y/n L/n'.  Inside was my dormitory, VICE Tower Room 70, and an additional paper with my schedule with a map of the school on the back.

After studying my class schedule, I was quite excited as they all seemed fairly interesting minus Uligification which seemed like a waste of everyones time. I looked up and realised almost everyone was gone therefore I made my way up the grand staircase on the right and followed it along until I arrived at the highest level of VICE tower. I looked around the hallway and saw two black doors in perfect condition which was funny as the rest of the rooms I had passed looked old and rotten, one room had a bright blue number 70 on it which must have been me. The other door made me gulp in surprise and nervousness, in purple writing read 'Lady Lesso'. Why was I on the same floor as the dean I wondered. After a few moments I moved towards the door and gently pushed it open. My room, which I was surprised I wasn't sharing like the rest of the students, was very large and open. Directly opposite the door was a Queen size bed dressed in black silks sheets, behind it was a large window which overlooked the the School for Good and the bridge that connected the two schools. The main room also had a large fire place which had comfy leather sofa facing it which was already crackling away, it seemed to turn on when you were in the room and automatically extinguish itself when you left. In one corner stood a large desk with lots of storage and the walls around it were covered in built in bookshelves, some books consisted of fairytale and books filled with stories where as a few were educational.
