Over the summer break you decided to stay at the castle which was the only placed that ever felt like home. You never wanted to return to your old town, the only pleasure you would get from returning would be to see it burn.

During the many lonely weeks you oversaw the changes that you implemented which were minor, a few class changes to make some lessons such as uglification to become optional in the second year onwards and adding a few extra circulars. You had decided to add a portrait of Dean Lady Lesso in the Nevers grand hall with rest of the the portraits but you also made an additional copy to hang in the deans office.

You finalised your Lesson lay out and plans, your classes being 'Special Talents' as you had a vast knowledge of magic which you continuously researched over the many weeks. Your other class being 'Curses and Death Traps' which you had loved when taught by Leonora, those subjects were the only ones needing covering anyway after her demise.

All the staff including Dovey had left to have a break/ vacation, Dovey promised she would come back early to spend time with you. She sent letters every Monday to check in on you which was sweet however this left the castles deserted.

You often talked to your magically projection of Lesso, only you could see her so if anyone witnesses an interaction you looked like a crazy women who talked to herself. Luckily no one was around for that to be a problem, Yet.

The only other task that took up your time was wondering through both castles and the vast grounds, you had discovered many secret and interesting rooms or paths which would help in the new school year.

----------

"You ready?" Dovey asked as the bright sun shone down at our picnic in the Ever grounds, "Mmm I think so, I prepared as much as possible so I can only hope for the best. Also I hoping for a smooth transition not only with students but staff as well, I don't think they'll like it." I replied with slight angst.

"You'll do great. I picked you for a reason and they can suck it" she reassured earring a loud chuckle from me at her choice of words. I thanked her before she continued "The students come tomorrow along with the two new readers", "Ugh readers are so much effort they never listen or refused to believe things." I groaned. "True just be kind and reassuring" Dovey smiled "Dove that only works for Evers, Nevers need the 'evilness', strong fearful words to set them in there places" I smirked at the thought, my mind running to the doom room where I could inflict some 'teaching' for a certain Nevers. Dovey merely rolled her eyes with sigh at my remark and evil joy at the thought.

Standing tall with authority I placed my self upon the stage in my grand hall waiting for the Nevers arrival, my eyes glancing towards Lesso portrait "I'll do my best darling".

My hair was down in loose curls with my usual light makeup, I wore loose black suit pants with a black silk shirt which was has two buttons undone so my necklace was on show. Wrapping around my waist was a tight corset which had different shades of floral blue lacing through with a hint of violet and a black base. To complete the look I had a black blazer, dangerously sharp high heeled boots and gasped in my hands was Leonora very own cane.

I took a deep breath as the hurried banging of footsteps began to echo through the halls entering the room, student filled the room. I carefully allowed my eyes to wonder around the many familiar and unfamiliar faces of which some nervous while others seemed overly confident, my eyes lightening up when millicent bounded towards me.

I kept my hard demeanour prominent as she came close, "My beautiful Dean L/N" she mocked quietly as she gave a small sarcastic bow. "Careful!" I lightly hissed amused at her display while using my cane to poke at her chest, "I missed you", I whispered for her ears only causing her to give a gently smile. I carefully lent down towards her ear as I spoke "I've given you my old room so your close but with privacy for certain guests" I gave a devilish wink as  I resumed my old position causing her blush as she thought of her girlfriend. "You better not be loud. Now shoo!" I smirked while she disappeared into the crowd.
