Ranea was still missing. She wasn't at her locker or lunch. But when I asked some people who were in her class, they told me they saw her, and she looked distracted. Another person told me she had her head down and wasn't paying attention. It was almost like she avoided me again. I didn't understand it. I just wanted to inform her about what Devin did to me. I had the proof. Since she didn't feel like talking, I would give her space and talk to her tomorrow.

As I walked out the school to go home, someone shoved me hard enough for me to fall. My hands slid in the dirt when I used them to prevent my face from falling in it. Being quick on my reflexes, I hurriedly got up and turned to see the culprits. Chelsea and Xavier.

"Bitch, did you really think you would get away with what you did?"

Instead of responding with my words, I attempted to push her back. Like a bodyguard, Xavier ran in front of her, grabbed my arms, and twisted them behind me. I struggled to get out of his hold, but the more I battled him was the more his grip tightened. I stilled my body once he tugged on my hair causing me to release a yelp.

Chelsea laughed at me. "Warning after warning. She tried her best to be patient with you. And what did you do? Continously stab her in the back. Now your time is up bitch. Get ready to suffer the consequences of your actions."

"Chelsea you better-"

She slapped me leaving shock. My face stung again. I left my face in the direction of her slap.

"Did I tell you to talk? I don't think so." She poked her nail in my face between each word.

Then, she slapped the other side of my face. Again, I left it in that direction and squeezed my eyes shut as Chelsea continued abusing my face. She dug her nail in my skin. I was sure it would leave a scar. Xavier released the hold he had on me. Before I could react to anything, I felt another hard tug on my hair again. I cried out in pain.

"Bitch, when my lady is talking to you, you better listen." Xavier pulled even harder.

"Babe let her go." He obeyed her and gave me one last push. This time my face hit the dirt. They both laughed.

"I hope you learned your lesson." I heard them laughing and talking about me in the distance.

I picked myself off the ground. My scalp was sore. Dirt all in my clothes and hair. Body ached from the hard fall.

On the way home, I felt like trash and probably looked like it too. I reached a low point.

After examining the damage, I had a few scratches, and my face was red along with the bruise.

I cleaned my body. While simultaneously scrubbing my body and crying my eyes out, the flashbacks popped up. From the beginning of the semester to present time. All the events leading up to now. So much drama in so little time. Most of it happened for no reason. I blamed some of it on myself, but other people were involved too.

I exited the shower. Wiping the fog off the mirror, I studied the damage again. The only emotion I could feel was sadness. I thought what Xavier and Chelsea did. It dominated my mind.

After faking it in front of my dad and Bridget, I switched my emotions. No more sadness. I allowed myself to feel angry. Angry at Ranea and Devin as well. They controlled me. I refrained and ignored my anger long enough. I kept choosing peace. A sign of weakness that was taken advantage of. The fury built up. It was time to take action.

I burst into the lunch room the next day. There she was flashing her mischievous smile. Probably sitting there thinking she won. She wasn't prepared for my wrath.

Without thinking, I stalked to the table where Chelsea was. I cleared my throat extra loud making everyone look up at me. Chelsea gave me that famous smirk when she know she'd accomplished something. I wanted to knock it off so bad.
