The day Olivia decided to finally give her answer, she stood in the back shop filling shelves.

"20 Ashwinder Eggs- the black variety" an unnerving gruff voice said to Bash behind the curtain shielding her.

Did that crazy fuck say 20? And the black ones at that?.

Bash chuckled darkly.

"That won't be a problem, unfortunately a mere 2 is 250 Galleons and you are asking for 20- that's 2,500 Galleons. We demand payment upfront before delivering".

"I don't carry that kind of money around" the man hissed like he was speaking to an idiot.
"This is Knockturn Alley boy, I don't have a death wish. You can meet me at a chosen location. I am told you deal in discretion and are known for such terms. I don't have to tell you how delicate buying black ones are considering it's illegal for potion making and possession is life in Azkaban. Nice little curse you have over the door for snitches by the way" he added snidely.

Damn right- my best work
Olivia thought proudly.

Customers felt the Dark Curse whenever they stepped through the door as well as flashes of what will become of them for alerting the authorities. Thievery was Bash's domain and pleasure. His reputation meant they had not had any instances these past three years.

"I know exactly what it means to possess them and where this shop is" Bash said dangerously "which is why money is asked for upfront. I can however meet you at your chosen location. If you pull any funny business I guarantee you there won't be a happy ending" he jerked his head to the warning sign clear and bold on the front door as well as behind his head above the counter saying 'Thieves will be severely punished'.

The man huffed, annoyed like that would never happen and it was actually an insult.

"3,000 Galleons for the eggs total for meeting you outside this shop- we charge for all arrangements. Take it or leave it- it's up to you" Bash's deep voice rumbled.

She could literally hear his cocky smirk on his lips from where she stood.

"Half an hour, the alley next to the Butchers Arms".

"If all goes well I'll treat you to a drink at the pub" Bash replied as the man scoffed and left the shop- making the bell chime as he left.

Olivia revealed herself from behind the curtain. Walking up to the counter in the front shop she picked up a piece of blank parchment from a stack and transfigured it nonverbally.

"What the hell is that?" Bash asked as he watched from the other side.

"Crayons" she said tonelessly.
"Typically used to explain things to muggle toddlers" she said taking another piece of parchment and scribbling on it with the wax.
"Observe" she slid it to him. The words 'Bad idea' were visible in different color letters.
"The joke is probably lost on you but I don't have the crayons or time to explain it- these ones are quite small" 🖍️ she examined the delicate sticks with squinted eyes- alluding it would take her more than a few hours to get any message through his thick skull.

"It's under control Little bird. I've been making deals like this since I was 8" he said dismissing her.
"The old man knew I could handle myself the day he adopted me".

"You..what? Webb isn't your father?".

Bash laughed.

"Of course not, have you seen him- he would have had to knock up one of those smoke show woman from Wondrous Witches Weekly to produce a stunner like me...or a Veela" he added in thought- flashing her an arrogant crooked smile when he glanced back at her. His electric blue eyes swirled menacingly.
