Chapter 4- Girlfriend

One year, Lily had been alone one year.

One year since her world caved in, one year since her family left, one year since she started wishing for things to be different, but one year can change a lot of things. It can change wishes to.

Lily no longer wished for a peaceful world where everyone was happy and always together. Now the 12 year old girl wishes for the end. And if not the end, she had began to wish for violence, to hurt those who came near her. She liked it. She wishes to make people pay for fucking with her, win or lose, she started wishing for violence. And that's what she got. But it wasn't the kind she had wished for. It was the kind that would haunt her, and follow her for the rest of her life.

She had been sleeping when it happened, in a safe spot, so she thought it was, that she had found earlier in her day, Sage was tucked away in her bag as she held her knees to her chest, small breaths passing her lips as she dreamt of her sister, her idol.

She wasn't stupid though, she had her knife in her hand and her gun under her makeshift pillow that was her jacket. But still, it wasn't enough.

Her eyes snapped open as she heard faint voices approaching her spot, she lifted her head quietly and pulled her gun out, moving farther into the darkness of the tree she was under, she waited to see if the group would pass her without noticing, she wouldn't waste the bullets if she didn't have to.

If they ignored her, she would do the same.

But they didn't, they didn't see her, but they saw her small setup for the night from afar, and so the group of men walked over to her spot, still not seeing her, she grabbed her bag quickly before they got close enough to see it and threw the bag and her cat on her back.

She crawled behind the various trees in the area, slowing working her way behind the group, still going undetected by the group, but her luck didn't last long at all.

She had counted 7, 7 men, all armed, all much bigger then she was.

"Hey there pretty thing"

Her heart sunk. The one time she didn't look behind her as she moved tree to tree. Cocking her gun she turned quickly and aimed for him.

"Woah there girl, no need for all that, we're nice, we'll take good care of ya, promise" he got closer, and closer.

Lily's heart beat in her chest, she didn't believe him, why would she, so she did what she had to. The second he reached out to try and touch her face she shot him.

His body fell to her feet. She stood there stunned for only a second. It wasn't like this was her first time killing a still living person, far from it. But the feeling the guy was giving off made her sick to her stomach, made her wonder what he meant.

She would find out soon.

She was on the radar now, the now 6 men all knew she was there, and where she was as they all started circling her in different directions.

"Now why did you have to go and do that you little bitch, he was the nicest one of us after all, he would've given it to you the best" another approached her.

She slowly backed up and away from the man, gun now raised at him, she continued to back up as he walked towards her, only to be met with the chest of another man behind her.

Out of pure fright she pulled the trigger, landing the bullet in the second man's chest as he also slowly fell to join his friend.

"The more you keep getting trigger happy the worse it gonna be little thing" the man behind her said, his voice sending chills down her spine as her heart sunk deeper and deeper into her stomach as the situation at hand kept getting worse.
