It has been three days, and there is still no response from Hype Entertainment. Yeonjun felt hopeless. As he opened a can of beer to drain away the disappointment, he heard a knock on the door. He went to open it, only to find his neighbor, Yeji, holding a heavy convenience store bag filled to the top with snacks and drinks. "Congratulations, Yeonjun-ah!" Yeji raised her hands, along with a big smile on her face.

"Huh? Why are you congratulating me?" Yeonjun asked, visibly confused. "What do you mean? You got the job! Didn't they tell you?" At that, Yeonjun remained still for a second. Then he heard the noise made when he received a notification. "Come on in." Yeonjun let the girl enter, and he rushed to his phone.

It was an email from Hype Entertainment. He read it and wasn't too surprised to see that he had indeed gotten the job. "Did they tell you beforehand?" Yeonjun questioned Yeji. "Yeah, well, I am friends with Lee Chaeryeong, so I did persuade her into telling me sooner. I didn't want to ruin the surprise. She told me she'll inform you at 4 pm and now it's 5:30 pm. I'm sorry, Yeonjun." Yeji expressed her apologies with a bow.

"No! Yeji, you don't have to be sorry. I'm glad that the good news came from you first rather than the email anyway." Once Yeonjun realized what he said, his eyes widened, and he wanted to dig a whole in the ground and spend the rest of his miserable life there. "Huh?" Yeji responded, just as shocked as Yeonjun. "Uh..." Yeonjun couldn't think of anything at that moment.

Yeji smiled brightly and nudged Yeonjun lightly. "Well, it's nice to know that you actually tolerate me. C'mon, let's dig in these snacks." Yeji walked past Yeonjun and put the bag onto the coffee table. Yeonjun didn't know what to do or to say, so he followed the cat-eyed girl and sat down next to her on the couch, with a respectable amount of space between them.

Yeji started taking out the chips, popcorn, chocolates, and beers she had bought, along with a bottle of red wine. "Wow." Yeonjun muttered, amazed by her choice of drinks. "I do have a passion for good wine. And also liquor. Beer is just like a small treat for me." Yeji responded honestly. Yeonjun knew that he couldn't drink that much. His alcohol tolerance wasn't the best.

"I'll bring a bowl and some glasses." He rose from his seat and went straight to the kitchen to get those things. As he was looking for the nice wine glasses, he spots the beer he had just opened a few minutes ago. "Well, I can't waste that." He whispered and grabbed the can, downing it in just a minute. He already felt a bit dizzy, but he didn't take it as a bad sign.

He went back to the living room, where Yeji was trying to pick a kdrama for them to watch. "Yeonjun, which drama should we watch?" She asked him as he put the chips into the bowl. "Give me the remote, I know one that you might like." When Yeonjun took the remote from Yeji, their hands slightly touched, sending a warm feeling in his body. For a second, he forgot what he was doing until Yeji reminded him: "So, what's the drama?"
