Chapter Quatorze

The whole entire night, the two cuddled and kissed. They felt like they were floating on clouds made of cotton candy in each other's arms. The two barely let go of the other in the morning to get ready for work. Once they reached the Hype building, Yeonjun gave Yeji a kiss on the cheek, and they parted ways.

It was already 11 a.m., and Yeonjun was walking through the hallways with Beomgyu by his side, when he spotted someone that he wished he didn't have to see anymore. The girl who was obsessed with him, too obsessed with him, Yu Karina. She saw him and waved at him with a big smile on her face. "Yeonjun oppa!"

Yeonjun's expression turned from calm to disgust. "Oh lord..." He muttered and sighed before the girl approached him. "Oppa, I haven't seen you in so long!" She tried to hug him, but he rapidly got out of her way. "Don't touch me." He coldly responded. At this point, Beomgyu was simply confused. "Uh... What is going on here?" He said as he watched the girl struggling to hug his friend.

"Oh, hi! Are you one of Yeonjun's friends?" Karina turned to him and smiled. "Yeah... Who are you?" He asked directly. "She is crazy. Let's go!" Yeonjun grabbed Beomgyu's wrist and pulled him into the recording room. "Okay, you have to tell me everything." Beomgyu sat down on the dark red couch. Yeonjun sighed and put his hand on his forehead to show that he had a headache.

"To start off, who was that girl?" Beomgyu started the interrogation. "Her name is Yu Karina." Yeonjun said it like it was tabu. "And?" Yeonjun sat down next to his friend and crossed his arms. "When we were in high school, she used to be overly obsessed with me. She was so obsessed that she used to threaten any girl who even dared to look at me. She was crazy and she probably still is." He confessed, irritated that he had to remember those times.

"One time, a new girl came, and she was assigned the seat next to me. She asked me for an eraser, and I gave one to her, not knowing that it'll trigger Karina so much." He stopped to take a breath and continued, "The next day, she was found beaten up on the school's rooftop, covered in blood and..." He paused for a second, his upper lip twitching, "and only after a few hours in the emergency room, she passed away."

Beomgyu gasped. "Karina was sent to juvy because she was a minor at that time, and once she turned the legal age, she was sent to prison. But it seems that her sentence wasn't that long, seeing that she is now free to wander the streets, while the victim..." Yeonjun's anger was rising as the seconds were passing. "I hate her. I hate her. I hate her. I wish she was dead." He spat out as his eyes turned dark.

Beomgyu put his hand on his friend's shoulder and tried to smile at him. "Take a deep breath, Yeonjun. Anger doesn't suit you."
