Yeonjun sat down on the stool by the kitchen island while Yeji was taking out the groceries and putting them in their places. "So... are you doing something today?" Yeonjun asked out of nowhere. "Not really. Maybe go for a walk later? I'm not sure." Yeji said with a clear voice. "Oh... alright." Disappointment was written all over Yeonjun's face. Yeji felt bad for acting so cold, but she couldn't give away the surprise she had prepared for him.

She, alongside their friends, planned a whole picnic for his birthday. Her, Beomgyu, Huening Kai, Soobin, Chaeryeong, Yuna, Ryujin, and his mother will all come. All the people Yeonjun loves will be there, and Yeji hopes that he'll like the surprise. "If you want, we can go on a stroll at the park. The weather is nice and some fresh air might brighten up the day." Yeji suggested, which made Yeonjun's frown turn into a smile. "Okay."

They were walking slowly, the sun was shining brightly, the air was slightly cold. They were so close to each other that their jackets were touching. Yeonjun was slowly making his way towards Yeji's hand, and Yeji knew it, moving it closer to his until their skin touched. Their hands intertwined so naturally, like they've done this multiple times until now. They reached the park, where, surprisingly, there weren't that many people.

Yeji was controlling the way they were going, and Yeonjun didn't think anything of it. He was just happy to be with Yeji. When they took the corner, Yeonjun spotted his mom sitting at a picnic table with multiple people. "Eomma?" He said as they were getting closer. All of those people rose from their seats and faced the birthday boy. He then recognized all of them. "Happy birthday, Yeonjun-ah!" All of them shouted, including Yeji. "Soobin, Beomgyu, Kai, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna! You are all here!" He smiled brightly at all of his friends.

"Of course we are! We couldn't let the birthday boy celebrate all by himself, could we?" Yuna said with an enthusiastic voice. Yeonjun smiled at her, then noticed something. Kai was looking at the youngest girl in such a way... 'Kai liked Yuna.' Yeonjun smirked at his friend and moved his gaze towards his mother. "Eomma! You came all the way here for my birthday?" He pouted and hugged his mother tightly. "Of course! You're my son, I couldn't miss this important day!" She said as she held his cheeks with so much motherly compassion. "Now, let's eat!" She said and sat back down. The delicious food that was scattered all over the table made Yeonjun's mouth water.

After they sang the birthday song, they ate the appetizing chocolate cake and danced to the music. While the others were distracted, Yeonjun pulled Yeji away from the place. "You remembered my birthday." He said and smiled at her, his stomach tightening as they held eyecontact. "How could I forget?" Yeji smiled back. "Oh, also... Here's your gift." She handed him a nicely wrapped box. "Wow. Thank you!" He took it and unwrapped the box. "Oh, wow..." He looked at the necklace, seeing the "Y" initial on it.

"Is the "Y" from your name, Yeji?" He asked as he was mesmerized by the beauty of the necklace. "No, it's your initial, Yeonjun-ah!" Yeji said, making Yeonjun feel embarrassed and shy by what he just said. She smiled at his red face. She cupped his cheeks with her palms and looked him straight in the eyes. "You know, you are really cute when you're shy." Yeji's voice lowered, alongside her eyes which falled onto his lips. She shook the idea off and kissed him on the cheek. "Let's go back to the others."

Now Yeonjun could be classified as a STOP sign since he was as red as one.
