Chapter Treize

For the amount of time Yeonjun spent at Yeji's apartment, it could be considered that they live together. Although they aren't an official couple just yet. Heeseung kept on bothering Yeji, but Yeonjun was always near so he could intervene. One time, Heeseung sent Yeji a bouquet of flowers at her door, and she was terrified because she didn't know how he found her address. And ever since then, Yeonjun has been sleeping in her apartment to prevent any break-in from happening with that ex.

"I bought three bottles of soju!" Yeji took the bottles out of the fridge and put them on the table. "Wow. This is a really good brand. They are sold out as soon as they restock them. How did you get your hands on these?" Yeonjun said as he inspected one of the bottles. "A magician never reveals his secrets." Yeji smiled mischievously and opened one of the bottles. She poured two shot glasses and handed one to Yeonjun. "For today! As it was a really good day!" Yeji did her toast and drank the shot, followed by Yeonjun.

They smiled at each other, and Yeji turned on the TV. It was on a news channel, and they saw the most shocking news. It was about Soobin and an actress called Choi Jisu. Yeji turned up the volume to hear the reporter better. "Shocking news! Kpop idol Choi Soobin has been caught going on multiple dates with actress Choi Jisu, also known as Lia. Their fans are surprised by their sudden announcements on their Instagram accounts, where they've confirmed dating."

"Wow..." Yeji turned down the volume. "Soobin never told me about any girlfriend," Yeonjun frowned. "Well, now two of our friends are in a relationship." He continued. "In fact, three. Aside from Kai and Yuna, and Soobin and Lia, there are also Chaeryeong and that guy... what was his name? Oh... Taehyun! Yeah, Taehyun." Yeji said, surprising Yeonjun. "Eh... that means we are only four without a relationship." Yeonjun said before taking another shot.

"Yeah... well, actually..." Yeji started. "Don't tell me." Yeonjun's eyes got bigger. "I've seen Ryujin and Beomgyu flirting some days ago." Yeji told him anyway. "Wow... That means only the both of us are practically single." Yeonjun said, getting a bit dizzy from the alcohol. "That could change." Yeji said quickly before drinking another shot. Yeonjun was looking at her with wide eyes. "Huh..." He muttered.

"Tell me, Yeonjun, do you like me?" Yeji said, looking him in the eyes. "Of course I like you! Why wouldn't I like..." Yeonjun was trying to say, but Yeji interrupted him:

"No, Yeonjun. Do you love me?"

Yeonjun's eyes widened even more, and his heart was racing at a hundred miles per hour. He was surely blushing.

"I love you, Yeji." He said and got closer to her until their lips met into a beautiful kiss. He put his hands around her waist as she was holding her hands around his neck loosely. He was rubbing her back gently, which sent shivers down Yeji's spine.
