*clears throat* so anyways my life is so fucking hectic rn I'm so sorry for being slow with updates and replies. I'm really trying to balance it but I'm a bit stressed atm so I hope that can be understandable!!

Boldly disrespectful to a person of higher standing, doubting their abilities.
The movement of the horse struck my lower body. It moved rhythmically with each step while someone's hand had wrapped itself around my waist. It was a comforting hold on me, as if whoever it was didn't intend to hurt me. My back was facing them, and I turned my head to look at him.
"Diego?" I questioned in a hoarse voice as the familiarity hit me. "What's going on? Where are we?"
I was convinced I had just been in the forest, consumed by the fear that had struck me as my eyes laid comfortably on Diego. But if that were true, how could he now be behind me? I could have sworn I hadn't fainted, so no time had passed since then, right?
"Don't worry, darling. Everything will be alright." He whispered to me. Something about the way he spoke made me feel like there was a missing piece. Not in the way that he didn't mean what he said, but in the way that something was severely wrong.
"But... Are you Diego?" Surely the blue eyes staring back at me were his. After all, I had spent far too long admiring them to not know. It was his voice, his smell, his clothes. Everything was him, but I ended up asking the question regardless.
"It is me, my love. How I've missed you." His half-lidded eyes explored my face, as if he was taking in every single detail. He acted as if he hadn't seen me in a very long time, which was odd. I just saw him minutes ago!
"No." I replied without thinking. Again, something wasn't right. I leaned towards Silver Bullet's head for a bit, trying to get a better view of his face. Instead, I caught a glimpse of something behind him.
It was a yellow and large figure. It reminded me a bit of Tusk, but at the same time not. Was it a stand? A yellow, human-looking stand? But it didn't make sense, why would there be a stand like that behind Diego? Unless...
"Oh my god!" I gasped. "You are Diego, but from another universe!"
Diego's POV:
"Where on earth did that woman go?! I swear to God, I can't keep my eyes off of her for a second without her running around and making a mess." I complained as Gyro followed me into the forest. The rest of them had started to notice the absence of my darling, but no one seemed to bat an eye. No one but me, that is.
I was worried, of course. What if something were to happen to her? I couldn't stand to have that happen to her. From the moment I laid my eyes on her, I knew- I knew that she would have my heart in a chokehold. I'm out here worrying about another goddamn person!
"Diego!" Lucy's voice called from behind me. I turned around, to where she sat on the ground next to Johnny. He had a frown on his face, as he examined the ground thoroughly.
"These horseprints..." He mumbled while his fingers brushed against them. "They're yours, Diego."
"What?" I asked. "What do you mean they're mine? I haven't even been in this forest."
"Then how do you explain this?" He continued to frown, but he was starting to get on my nerves.
"I don't know, you dumb fuck. I'm telling the truth."
"Oh, yeah? Give me one good reason why these are here then." He stood up and raised his voice a bit.
"I don't fucking know! My biggest concern right now is Y/N. I don't care about your weird interest for horseprints."
"Shut up!" Lucy shouted to interrupt us. "There's another possibility."
"What?"
"Before Valentine died, is it possible he... Managed to bring something- someone to this world from another?" She inquired. The thought rushed past me for a second, and I realized she actually had a point. Shit, this is bad.
"You're saying there's another one of these out there?" Gyro made a disgusted face as he pointed to me.
"Yeah, got a problem with that?" I gritted my teeth together as I spoke.
"Not necessarily, but if his murderous urge is the same as yours at the least, then I suggest you'd start looking for that girl of yours."
Shit, he has a point.

Y/N's POV:
I held onto the stranger's back. Well, he wasn't actually a stranger, but he was at the same time. This Diego had made it so I sat behind him, which was a bit more comfortable. Now that I had learnt about who he was, my mind started to come up with various ideas of how to get out of this situation. Nonetheless, there was something I still didn't know.
"Diego?"
"Yes, my love?"
"If you're actually another version of Diego, why are you so nice to me? I know there's probably another version of me in that other universe who you love, but why treat me like her?" He kept his gaze forwards, remaining in silence for a moment. I hesitated for a moment, consider whether or not I should repeat my question. "...Diego?"
"You're completely right as always, Darling. There's only one thing you missed." He sighed, like an old man reminiscing on old memories of loved ones.
"What's that?" I asked.
"That version of you- the one which I held so dearly- she's gone. I failed to give up my life for hers, but I will not make that same mistake again. So when I've hidden this corpse deep beneath the ground, I'll bring you with me to a most glorious place where we can live together."
"Wait-" I exclaimed. "I already have my Diego! I don't want another one. Look-" I sighed. "I'm sorry for your loss, I truly am, but I can't let that happen."
"Well, there's really nothing you can do to stop me, because my stand is invincible to any other. Its' ability to stop time will always stay superior."
"Wha- stop time?!" So I was... Right?!
"Yes! I, Diego, will be granted everything the world has to offer me!"
