Vance pov

I wake up to my dumbass alarm. I throw my alarm across my room to shut it off. "Another shitty morning. FUCK I DIDN'T BEAT MY HIGH SCORE!" I say punching my pillow. I hear a knock on my door.

"Hey hunny its mom!" My mom says opening the door a bit. "Oh good morning mom!" I say walking over to the door.

(Just so you know vance is a mommas boy)

"Well I wanted to tell you that breakfast is ready so come down when you are ready." My mom says closing my door. I go to my closet and get my usual outfit. I put my shoes on and fix my hair. "Ugh I'm so hot!" I say with confidence. I go downstairs and see my mom and dad at the table drinking coffee.

"Morning son." My dad says. My dad never even loved me so I don't show him any emotion. "Hey mom. What did you make today?" "Oh! i made you some pancakes and eggs your favorite!" My mom says placing my plate down infront of me. "Thank you mom" I say eating my food. My father stares at me like I shaved his head.

"Hey kid today i don't  want you being a queer at school alright!? Don't be getting into any fights today. The police called us yesterday because you beat someone up at the grab&go!" My father yells. "THAT WASN'T ME DAD! THAT WAS SOMEONE ELSE I TOLD YOU ALREADY!"  I scream slamming my fork down. "YOUR THE ONLY KID IN THIS FUCKING TOWN WHO NEARLY KILLS KIDS OVER A GAME! WHO ELSE COULD IT BE?" My dad screams standing up. "IT WAS BRUCE. I WAS JUST PLAYING ON THE PINBALL MACHINE!" I scream back.

"Come one tony just calm down. Your doing too much" my mom says trying to calm him down. "NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! THIS KID CAUSES NOTHING BUT TROUBLE TO THIS FAMILY!" My dad screams at my mom. "Vance I think you should go before your late hunny." My mom says smiling at me. I grab my phone and leave the house. "Bye mom." I say before closing the door.

When i walk infront of my house i see bruce waiting for the bus with his little sister. I don't know her name but she looks like she would beat up a kid. The bus comes so i step on the bus. I sit in the very back of the bus while bruce and his sister sit in the middle. Other kids come on the bus. Some sit close to me and some sit in the front. Micheal steps onto the bus and goes to bruce.

"Hey f@g! Why dont you get off my seat and go to your little boyfriend huh?" He says pulling bruce off the seat. Bryce sits back down not listening to Micheal but later gets pulled off the seat again but pushed towards me. "Sit down bruce. Just sit here." I say scooting over. He nods and sits next to me. Leaving some space in between us.

I have a habit of putting my hands on each side of me when i sit on the bus but when I put my hand on that spot a hand was already there. I look down and see the hand of bruce sitting there. "Oh uh sorry" Bruce says moving his hand. I put my hand back and tap my fingers softly against the seat.

The bus comes to a stop so me and bruce stand up. Bruce goes out first so I go behind him. Everyone hurrys out of the bus scared that I would do something. The people behind me walk slowly as bruce and I hurry off the bus.

"Thank you.."  Bruce says quietly not looking at me. I nod and go to my locker and he goes to his.  Robin comes up to me with a note in his hands.

"Hey vance! OH MY GOSH SOMEONE LEFT ME A NOTE IN MY LOCKER!!" Robin says  jumping up and down like a kid. "Okay? Why is this important for me?" I say leaning on my locker. "Because." Robin says opening the note.

Hello robin. I wanted to say I really like you. I have for a while. Please know that I will not force you to be my boyfriend and we can still be friends if you don't like me.

"OH MY GOSH VANCE HE LIKES ME!!" Robin says squealing and jumping up and down. "Robin..he has for a while. Like two years. It was obvious." I say getting off my locker. Robin looks at me surprised. "TWO YEARS? HOW DID I NOT REALIZE?!!!" Robin. Says shaking me. I shrug. "Maybe  because your stupid." I say walking away. Robin trys to hold me back but he lets go after a few seconds.

"Hi vance" I hear a male voice say. I turn to look at who it was and see bruce there. "What?" I say looking him in the eye. "I was thinking about this all day..." Bruce says sighing after. "Okay? What is it you want?" I say looking him up and down. "Are we friends now? I mean you saved me two times so...I was just wondering because you started acting nicer. Especially because we met a day ago." Bruce says giving me a friendly smile.

His smile is so beautiful. I want to pick him up and hug him forever. I guess it's a chance to get closer with him

"Um yeah i guess we are friends. Is that okay?" I say unsure if he wants to be friends or not. He nods and smiles more.  His face lighting up as he smiles. I can't help but give him a small smile. The bell rings so we part our ways.

TIME SKIP BC I HATE WHEN THE BFS ARE NOT TOGETHER

When i walk into the lunch room i see robin,bruce and finney waiting for me. I never talked to finney except for him asking me if I liked bruce which was a few months ago.

FLASHBACK

Finney walked up to me and clears his throat. "Uh hey vance i wanted to ask you something." Finney says with fear on his face. "Okay what is it blake?" I say sighing. "Do you like bruce?" Finney says in a confused tone. I choke on air as I think about the question. "I do...not like bruce" I say almost coughing. Finney gives me a look that says 'uh huh?' While nodding. He walks away to robin leaving me there standing in the middle of the hallway.

END OF FLASHBACK

i sit next to robin and In front of bruce. Finney is sitting on my right side. Finney and robin start talking about their plan to go to finney's house. Bruce is on his phone but gives me small glances. Everytime i catch him he smiles and looks away.

That precious smile he has makes me weak in my knees. I pull out my phone and look up a 'how to know if i am gay' quiz. "What the fuck are you doing vance? Is that a gay quiz?" Robin says outloud. Bruce looks up from his phone to me. I side eye robin so he can stop talking and he does. Bruce and finney switch seats so Finney can talk to robin better. I finish the quiz and wait for my results. The results pop up and i am disappointed with what i got.

You are a closeted gay that no one knows is gay.

"Shit.." I mutter. Bruce turns to me and then my phone. "Whats wrong?" Bruce says putting his hand on my shoulder. I shake my head and say "nothing." Bruce smiles at me and looks back at his phone. "Hey guys do you want to go to my house for a sleepover tomorow? Only one night. We already have the snack and game ideas so we just need you guys to come." Robin says giving  me a pleading look. Bruce agreed so i also agreed to go. I can't believe i am going to another house but mine. I never socialize so i never go out. The lunch bell rings so we go to class. I walk into class and sit down in the back. I lay my head down and fall asleep for the majority of the class.
