A/N: Dear readers, thank you for supporting me in taking a break last weekend! I have to say I tried very hard to write a chapter, but that just didn't work out. Even this chapter I completed only yesterday, but don't you worry, I didn't hurry through.

Firstly, I am so so so excited presenting this chapter not only because it has been sometime since I have last written, but also because this is the Nandini of my dreams! I haven't written a stronger version of Nandini ever, and I just hope you guys can deal with the super extremes her character will see in the due course of the story hereon!

Okay, without further ado, let's let you read now! More on the other side!

On that note, Happy Reading! :)

"Sir, sorry for disturbing you, but Mrs. Malhotra wants to meet you urgently..she's waiting outside." Aryamann looked up from the script he was reading with Mr. Dhruv Vedant in his office, as he scowled at his assistant. Didn't his assistant know how important this reading was? After Manik Malhotra and Innaya Forbes had snatched his movie under the DV banner from right under his nose, at Jeff's party, only he knows how he managed to weasel his way back to reading another script with Dhruv! Although he did wonder, why old Mrs. Nyonica Malhotra wanted an audience with him? He only ever politely greeted her in courtesy in social gatherings where they met. Was Manik Malhotra up to something?

"...and does Mrs. Malhotra have an appointment?" he asked, curtly, glancing at Dhruv.

"No..sirr.." mumbled his assistant, hesitantly.

"Then you know the drill, Akshay." Aryamann responded, smoothly.

"Yes sir..it's..it's just that, you usually meet Nandini ma'am even without an appointment, so I thought I should let you know." Akshay responded before leaving, and before he could step out, both men turned their attention to him.

"You meant Nandini?" Aryamann asked, Dhruv didn't miss the edge in his voice.

"Yes, sir," Akshay stammered.

"Why would you refer to her as Mrs. Malhotra then?" snapped Aryamann, irritably.

"Sir, that's what she wrote in the entry register.." mumbled Akshay sounding confused.

"Call her in, right now." he ordered, then turned to Dhruv, "Hope that's fine?"

"Of course, I am curious, myself." Dhruv answered with a smirk.

As Nandini walked into the office, she was surprised to see Dhruv there. She smiled to herself, she was planning to meet this guy anyway, good she got two birds in one shot.

"Nandini, how are you? Where were you? Are you fine? I have been trying to reach you..." Aryamann's concerned voice broke through her own thoughts, as she noticed a positively perturbed Aryamann flying to her and pulled her in a warm hug. Strange. She usually responded well to hugs, but somehow this time it did nothing. She felt nothing.

"What will happen to me? I was just relaxing for a few days, and now I am back" she replied nonchalantly, and Aryamann didn't miss the coldness, as he pulled back to peer at her.

"...and hello Mr. Vedant, lovely seeing you! I wasn't expecting you here, but I'm glad I got to meet you." Nandini greeted the other man.

"The pleasure is mine, Mrs. Malhotra" Dhruv responded with a calculated smile. Nandini returned it.

"So now you go by Mrs. Malhotra?" Aryamann asked, and as much as he tried, he couldn't keep the scowl from forming on his face. Dhruv glanced at him and sensed the tension in the room.
