A/N: Hello readers, hope you have readjusted in life after your awesome V Day celebrations? On the home front, my husband was supposed to take me out for dinner, but our girl thinks it is only fair that we go out for V Day when she has a boyfriend too, until then it should be all of us going out (I have years waiting!). So, romance for me, ran out of the window, and we ended up having a family dinner at an American diner amongst teenage couples, because my daughter was in the mood for burgers! (I secretly think she was scheming the market of older boys, and my husband is alarmed at the idea! :P) That's that, but for all you guys, I hope it was great fun!

On that note, another DHAMAKA awaits you in this chapter! Yes, this story never seems to run out of twists! :D

Anyway, happy reading, see you on the other side!

It had been three months since Manik and Nandini had had their confrontation, and the truth about Manik's feelings & Abhimanyu's murder were out. Both of Nandini's movies were now in post production, and she had signed a third movie, an action thriller, with Zain Qureshi. Work wise she was taking steady steps into showbiz, but her attempt at uncovering any clue connecting the Malhotra seniors to Abhimanyu's murder remained unsuccessful. Nandini was slowly starting to panic now, more than half the year had passed ever since she lost Abhimanyu, and each day into the future was taking her farther away from ever finding any dirt on the culprits. Nandini was running out of ideas, and places to check, and it frustrated her. Knowing that the stakes were so high on them, and one small mistake or emotional move could uncover them before the senior Malhotras, she had kept all this information to herself only; Mukti had no clue as yet, and as time passed, Mukti's hope for ever getting justice for Abhimanyu, was dwindling too. What could Nandini possibly do to break in? Who could help her, she wondered, and as much as she hated it, only one name came to mind. Manik.

Yes, she still detested him for hiding his family's follies from her, but when she covered the truth from Mukti for her safety, in doing that, she somehow understood Manik's perspective too. Maybe he was right in his place, but she was still mad at him for deciding on her behalf and choosing her over Abhimanyu's justice. Either ways, none of these mattered because, Manik was very clear when he had mentioned that he wasn't going to help her with seeking clues against his family and bring her to harm's way. Now what?

"Nandini, I have managed to ensure that you get to promote your movie with Manik sir, on Moon TVs hit reality show, along with Manik sir. Rose will not be invited to that event." Nandini's trance broke at the excited voice of Zubin, and she frowned hearing the news, now focusing on Zubin.

"..that's brilliant, Zubin, but how did you manage that? After all, Rose is the main female lead & the channel or Dhruv sir, wouldn't ever agree to have me replace her on such a huge promotion platform!" Nandini answered, looking at him sharply. Zubin smiled his cute, crooked smile.

"I may have something that the channel head has been waiting to put her grubby hands on! It's a leverage." Zubin replied, with much build up and Nandini smirked playfully at him.

"What leverage, Zubin?" Nandini asked, smiling now.

"Ila Joshi, channel head, Moon TV, has the biggest crush on Aryamann sir. She has been trying to make a move on him for years, and Aryamann sir has been dodging it. I may have promised her a nice date with Aryamann sir.." Zubin spilled, and Nandini giggled like a schoolgirl, hearing his childish ways of getting things done!

"Poor Aryamann, my friendship is proving to be extremely challenging for him to keep!" Nandini laughed, as Zubin joined in.

At night when Nandini went to bed, one word suddenly struck her. Leverage.
