This is what you 'troopers came up with!

BarbZaneson:

"This book that you like - about the lonely robot hacking an encrypted soul while vampire pirates attack his flying castle with their homemade death ray - if it's so great, why is the only known copy mis-shelved somewhere in the Wormhole Branch of the Intergalactic Public Library?"

jinnis:

"Alright, Sarge, you told us to expect weird things while passing through a wormhole. But this isn't just weird, it's—wait, isn't this a first edition of Dune? And here, the complex works of Asimov and Bradbury. Sorry, Sarge, but I think I'll stay here for a while."

Wormhole travel had been a new and yet untested feature in the Sagittarius wars. It remained a mystery why so many of the first troopers to use the transit wormhole No 7 never reached their destination or arrived later then expected. Wormhole No 7 was closed permanently after a whole battalion of special troopers declared themselves pacifists after what they called "a reading" during transit. The mystery of wormhole No 7 was never solved. But it is said the soul of lost soldiers still hang in there, reading their way through every book ever published in the universe.
