"uncle setty" melani ran up to setty as we walked in the door
"heyy" he smiled lifting her
she looked past his shoulder seeing me and squeezed her hand, waving
"hi baby" i smiled at her
"you ready to go hang out wit set and miyah" her mom came over with a bag
melani nodded laying her head on setty's shoulder.
"i'll take it" i reached out for the bag and the bottles in her hand.
"thank you so much" she let out a deep breath of relief
"no problem, how you been, you okay" i set the bag down and held the bottles
"yeah, juts been tryna take care of melani and you know make her and her daddy proud" she gave a tight lipped smile
"i know it's been hard may naz rest in peace but, he's proud and he sees you, we all do and if you ever need help i'm here and you know setty is a dad to melani at heart and i treat her like she's mine. we love her and we hear for you. for as long as you need us" i gave her a hug
"thank you so much, i really need the help. i'm trying but, it just gets hard. hopefully i can get myself together. for the better" she let a couple tears lose on my shoulder and setty joined the hug
"you will and remember to keep going for melani" setty rubbed her back
"thank you guys, so much" she let out a breath standing up straight
"no problem love" i said rubbing her shoulder
"ya'll go ahead i don't want to hold you guys up, i know you probably have alot planned for her and if you don't bring her back tomorrow please just let me know" she said opening the door for us
