"bae, you walkin too fast" jasani called out to her boyfriend who was a coupel feet in front of her
"i'm not walkin that fast ma, you just walkin slow" he said looking down at his side where his gridlfrien now was
"what if somebody kidnapped me, you wouldn't even know or do nun cause you so far ahead of me" she rolled her eyes imagining the scenario she made up in her head
"nobody boutta take yo little ass, imma shoot em if they try you" he said interlocking his fingers with her smaller hand
she wrapped her other hand around his arm.
"awe you gon booommm somebody for me" she laughed exaggerating " boom"
"only for you, and if i have too" he shook his head laughing
they walked towards jasani's apartment building and she rummaged through her purse pulling out her key as nazzy held the door open for her. they walked throught he lobby and greeted a couple guys and girls they knew.
they got in the elevator and nazzy pressed the button of jasani's apartment floor.
"if i was a snake would you still love me" jasani asked out of nowhere looking up at nazzy who looked up from his phone with an eyebrow raised
"what" he laughed
"if i was a snake, like an animal" i looked at him
"what typa question is that"
"okay what if i was a pig or-or a bunny" i looked over
the elevator doors opened and he walked behind me.
"get off the elevator bro" he shook his head smiling
"hmph" jasani crossed my arms and rolled her eyes getting off
the couple walked down the hall to the door of jasani's apartment and nazzy followed behind her. ever since she spoke up about not wanting him walking in front of her, even if she was joking, he acknowledged and stood behind her so she could see that he noticed and cared about her thoughts and saftey. she acknowledged and appreciated it deeply.
