" hey d-" i stopped myself after seeing darrien walk past me
"what's wrong with him" i asked dd who was falling behind him
"him and mani done for real and he mad because she was with another dude"
"i thought they broke up months ago"
"they was still messing around and claiming each other" dd told me going in my locked that was aside me
"where's he going" i asked watching him turn down the hall
i looked back at dd and seen him shrug.
"what you lookin at" i felt weight on my back and looked back seeing ethan
"nothing" i shook my head
"let's go to class then" he grabbed my arm
the bell rang and we went to the last class of the day. i was sitting back and thinking about what dd told me. darrian and mani were together for what seemed like forever and when they got into it , he always seemed bothered. which showed me he cared about her but, regardless of how mad he was, he would still talk to me.
it was always weird being there for him when he was mad at her though, just because i had my own feelings for him. i've liked him for a couple of years now. before he started dating mani , and nobody really knew except ethan. ethan knows everything because he's my best friend.
"what's wrong with you" ethan leaned over in my ear
"nothing , why" i snapped out of my thoughts looking at him
"you look like you thinking about something"
i didn't respond.
"you heard about darrian" he asked me
"yeah, he looked mad" i told ethan
"i knew it was him" he laughed at me and i rolled my eyes smiling
" he'll be okay, you should try talking to him" ethan told me
